-Holy crap, were there no non-wedges in SHW? Oh well. Even though Peppernut is decidedly more "pure-rammer" than the other opponents I've faced, that could actually work to my favor. Peppernut is a bit better in the drive stats than Final Boss was, but Peppernut is not as low to the ground as Boss and doesn't have the all-around skirting defense. This would make thwacking a much more viable tactic both offensively and defensively since he has flat sides with reasonably exposed wheels to hit.

-All in all, the big story here is that Teresa has a lot more to work with here than Peppernut does. Now there isn't necessarily the option to attempt to drive up and over Peppernut if I fail to get under him, but what I do have is the option to either spin and thwack at his sides if I can OR fire the puncher and catch his main body. That would push us apart before he could really try and push me somewhere.

-Since Peppernut is a 6 wheeled bot, his quick turning ability will be compromised a bit (particularly compared to Teresa's two-wheel drive system), so try to use this quicker turning to angle in on him a bit and slip my dual front wedges underneath him. Succeeding in that wedge/use the puncher to force him along to the hazards.

-If he's looking like he'll escape, punch or use a thwacking maneuver to at least get a parting shot in on him and then get my wedges facing him again and try to get underneath and get back to business.

-As I said before if he gets under me, use the puncher/thwack as the situation dictates to get away. Neither will really do much in terms of causing much visible damage to him, but lot's of uses of my weapon will really help rack up judges points. Combine that with keeping him from really pushing me around anywhere and that's a big win/win for me.

-Generally stay aggressive and stay in motion as much as I can so he can't really just line up aggressive rams and such (which realistically is the most he can do).

Good Luck!

I should go 3-1 this week but it'll probably be something like 0-4 or 0-5.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

+ I have one point of Speed, two points of Traction, and four more wheels. I should therefore be faster than Teresa, and a LOT better controlled than Teresa during the fight.

+ Torque is mine, so I can push Teresa around with relative ease, especially with six wheels against two. Wedge is less clear, but I'm hoping I can get under her more often and exploit my Torque advantage. Even if I'm unable to get under her, then my wedge will still push against her total box of a chassis, and she won't be able to do much.

+ PEPPERNUT NEEDS NO WEAPONS. I also have one point of Armour over Teresa, so should be able to withstand more punishment over the match.

> Same strategy as always. Aggression to the nth degree. Rush out towards her, get underneath her and just start slamming her about the place. Walls, hazards, anything will do. If she tries firing the bar, then I should be able to shrug it off with only 5 Weapon power. I have 8 Armour, 6 Torque, 8 Traction and 6 wheels. I ain't going anywhere. Use the wider wedge side to begin with, and once I do get under her, then go for some slamming. Keep the front pointed at her, and don't let her at my sides ever. If she does get there, then back the hell up and don't allow her to do anything. Thwacking? Hang back a little until she has to show movement, then rush in immediately. If she persists with the thwacking tactic, though, then try to time a charge so I can get under her sides. If she gets her front wedges underneath me, then I can simply push against her chassis and go from there. Firing the bar might shove me back a little, but I can then get my wedge under her bar rather than her wedges and I can go bullet train on her again. If my wedge gets screwed up, then I'll simply turn around and use the other one.

Good luck, Josh, and may the best bot win. =)
