When the match starts, I'll come at him with my wedge forward and my hammer in position to fire. Chances are he might try to capitalize on his slight drive advantage to avoid my hammer, which means I'll do everything possible to keep my hinged wedge pointed at him at all times. If I can succeed with doing that, I should be in good shape here. Seeing as how he's long and wide, there's a lot of exposed armor to hit on top. Plus, he's very low, so if his top plate caves in a bit, it could get jammed with some of his internals, too. I could also manage to pierce his armor and hit one his motors directly, which would be awesome. So, bottom line is, keep my weapon facing him and make sure to get a good shot in when I get the opportunity...

After I fire, he may or may not get under my hinged wedge. It's a very heavy wedge that will probably be harder to scoop under. If I scoop him, I'll have the opportunity to strike him not once, but multiple times until he figures out a way to escape my wedge. If he gets under me, however, I'll start swinging myself around and try to use my side wedges to slide me off if at all possible. If/when I do, I'll continue to turn myself around and maybe scoop under him from the flipper side. If I manage to scoop under with the lip and get under enough surface, I'll fire the flipper and toss him about. This will be my big opportunity to capitalize on aggression - push him along as I'm tossing him up. Send him to the drum, killsaws or hammers when he's being tossed around. If I can double up damage (hammer) and aggressive (flipper/wedge), I could dominate the match.

If he does get under me and tries to fire his flipper, I doubt he'll be able to flip me over easily. His power is only 2 and Tellu is not only big, but very wide w/ the side wedges, so chances are he'll only be able to pop me up a bit. If he pops me up, too, I have more of a chance of falling off his side and escaping to his side again.

Basically, use the hammer/wedge as the main tactic, and maybe adjust strategy accordingly based on the situation. If I have an opportunity to use the arm as a flipper, go for it. Take him to the hazards when necessary/convenient.

Good luck!

You're just a voice pal, you don't know a damn thing about racing!
So I have more torque and enough armor to shrug off most of his axe blows. This should be a fairly easy match. Rush in at him and get under, if I don't then just back off and go for it again. Once I get under, flip him then drive him to a hazard. Really I can't see him doing much to me unless he breaks through my armor, and if that happens just play defensively.

Good luck Chris and may the better bot win.
