1-3 is a big hurt but I was expecting this to happen, Rocket Knight to loose against Klarenette was no surprise since it was merely impossible to try and win. Happy Chemical Fusion isback to winning ways once more, Pikabot and Le-Mans are having a struggling season so far, another week could be tough, 2-2 me predicting.

Wait the teeth on the lifter are hinged? Lol. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having the lifter passively press into the ground, exerting force on the teeth? I really don't get this, someone's gonna have to explain the logic behind that to me
Am I missing something here? Why was this alright for Immolator, when he had hinged wedges on an already impressive wedge? You seemed to be behind that one. :v:

At any rate, losing 23-22 again to TV isn't fun, but hey, 3-1! Excellent.

Okay, so let me just ask this out loud here, since I was wondering the same thing as Siphai.

What is the main advantage of spinning the opposite direction of the opponent's spinner? I'm not sure I understand. :v:

As far as ARC is concerned, I would say probably nothing.

I should go 3-1 this week but it'll probably be something like 0-4 or 0-5.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

The way I see it, it's to do with how fast the weapon is travelling relative to the opponent. If you're travelling at 60mph on a motorway, freeway, interstate or any other high-speed road, and someone comes past at 70mph, they don't go flying past you like they would if you were stationary. They're only going 10mph faster, so relative to you, they're travelling at 10mph, and appear to move rather slowly.

This is what I sometimes try to do with Scatterbrain. I spin at 12 power, so if my opponent has 12 power as well, then by spinning in the opposite direction, we're both going at the same speed, and if we stayed where we were, our weapons would never hit each other. Not taking into account design and whatnot. Normally a spinner has more than 12 Weapon, though, but spinning the other way drastically slows the speed of the weapon RELATIVE to Scatterbrain, thus reducing the force it hits with.

That's what I've been thinking. Yay physics. :v:

Nah, if you're spinning at whatever speed, and you hit something, you're still hitting that at whatever force. You aren't really cancelling it out, especially in this case with discs. He spins his bar, I spin my disc, my teeth hits hits bar at 14 weapon power. At most, at the very most I could only see the benefit that it does less damage to the motor itself, since you get less stress on it being forcibly stopped. But the force itself is very much real and there's no reason why it would be cancelled out.

And at the very least, even if they did spinning perfectly together, I don't think there's a single two designs that would actually mesh like gears anyway.

Lastly, the two weapons meshing together only makes sense if each is perfectly stationary, which is insanely dumb. Both would continuing moving towards each other, where the weapons would get closer to hitting the base of the opposing weapon.

no no no, Choice Scarf boosts Speed by 50%, Choice Specs boosts Special Attack

given the fact Drakina has a Speed stat yet no Special Attack stat, Choice Scarf is significantly more useful for Drakina!
