Bleh, this aint fun. I guess I'll get the shell up to speed and then I'll try to jsut dodge any attacks he comes after me with until the shell is a t full speed. Now he's pretty well protected everywhere, so my best shot is to damage his weapon by going after his sides there. After I hit him, I'll get out of the way and spin up again and be sure not to let him get to me with either the plow or wedge. I just got to keep moving for the duration of this fight. Then when I have any potential to cause damage to his sides, I'll take the oppurtunity and throw my self into him and then I'll repeat the process until the fight's done. |

+ I have an extra point of Speed over him, and two wheel drive compared to his four. I should therefore be both faster and more manouverable than him during the fight, and given his large spinning shell, possible just as controlled. + Torque is mine. Torque is very mine. Plus since he has no wedge, I should be able to push him with relative ease. Add to that my wedge and lifting weaponry, and I should be able to keep control of him during the match relatively well. + His spinning shell has a power of 10, and my plow has Armour of 9, so he won't be causing much more than scratches. My Weapon also has an Armour of 9, so I doubt he'll be able to cause too much damage to that either. Plus, my chassis Armour of 7 should also hold up reasonably well. > Approach with the plow side and the lifter raised. He'll be getting his weapon up to speed, so show aggression by moving out towards him. What I would like to do is lower my lifter over his self-righting pole, and thus keep him under my control. When he does hit my plow, my lifter will keep him close to me, and prevent me from being spun around, allowing me to retaliate as best as possible. If I can pull this off, then I'll immediately shove him towards the killsaws, and just hold him there. 30 solid seconds of Killsaw action will definitely cause some damage, and then I think I'll follow that up by forcing him into the wall and pinning him. He wouldn't be able to escape. Once I've caught him, then I'll want to return my lifter to the wedge side, then spin myself around, slip the lifter under him, then tip him over. We've seen from the previous matches that he can't self-right, so I should have the win right there, but I'll stay close to him in case he is able to. > If hooking his pole doesn't work, then just put the lifter back to my wedge side, and aim to turn him over as quickly as possible. His relatively small teeth should mean I'm able to get my wedge under him without incurring too much damage, and once I am, then hopefully I can flip him without him skittering away. A 4 power lifter isn't exactly slow. Once he's overturned, then shove him against the wall to try and keep him overturned. If he's proving tricky to overturn, then go back to the pole-hooking tactics if they worked beforehand. If the didn't, then just tank his hits with my plow. When I'm spun around after a hit, try and get the wedge in as quickly as possible, then try to turn him over, and shove him back into the hazards if I'm unable to. Also don't let him get to my sides, that would be daft. I'm more manouverable and faster, so I should be able to manage that. > Hook his pole with my lifter, drag him to the killsaws, then pin him against the wall. Get my lifter back to the wedge side, then turn him over. If hooking his pole doesn't work, then just turn him over. If that doesn't work somehow, tank his weapon with my plow and get him to the hazards. I should hopefully take Strategy and Aggression by enough of a margin to take a JD, but I should be able to KO him, I reckon. Good luck, Max, and may the best bot win. =) |
