I really like the concept of Diablo - he sorta reminds me of Spider Byte way back in the day. However, there are distinct design and stat details that will play in my favor here. First and foremost is the wedge - now that the wedge stat is gone, it's based more on the visual judgment of which bot is lower. It's hard to ignore the fact that the tip of Diablo's plow (both the hinged part and static parts) are not wedges - they cut off before they tip the surface. Simply put, my wedge definitely look lower and I'd be surprised if he could get under me from the front. The second thing I'd like to point out is the nature of his drum design - it's not only got really small teeth, with a low weapon power of 5, but it also doesn't allow him to fully "scoop" me up with the drum due to his double-sided plow acting as a stopper. With my "weapon-in-wedge" setup, I can fully get under a bot, toss him around and such; Diablo probably can't.

I'll start off by coming straight at him, being weary to see if he tries to drive around me. His drive is better, but only marginally, so I doubt he can maneuver around my wedge. Hence, I will try to force a wedge-to-wedge battle, where I'm fairly confident I'm the lower bot. Assuming I can get under him, I'll try to slice into him with my bar rack and aim for his central drum mount attachment. The reason for targeting the damage to this area is because this comprises of his entire offense and if I can fuck up his wedge, drum and/or arm, he'll be even more screwed. I have 10 weapon and he has 7 armor, so I can definitely cause damage with my spinner; my main plan is to warp his plow so that his wedge effectiveness becomes even more hindered. Plus, since his spinning drum is so close to touching his plow attachment, if I warp the plow, I might be able to make his drum get jammed by his plow, blocking his spinning motion. If I do this, his drum will become irrelevant.

I also plan to tear into his underbelly a bit - his bottom plate and his wheels. If I can strike his wheels, I can hopefully mess up his drive.

In addition to the raw damage I'd cause with my spinning bars, I'll simultaneously be pushing him around to the hazards. I hope to take him to either the killsaws or the pulverizers. My first choice would be the saws since I'd already potentially be doing a lot of damage to his underbelly - if I can add some damage via hazards, the closer I'll be to working towards wearing him down.

If he gets under me from the front, he'll be able to initially only strike my wedge with the drum, which could be a lot worse. Essentially, my wedge will be deadlocked with the top of his plow, which will give me a momentary opportunity to get myself out of the jam. If/when this occurs, I'll quickly spin my wheels to twist myself to the right or left side and get myself out of the jam. If him getting under me becomes a pattern, I'll try to wedge him from the corners - avoiding his central plow/drum attachment.

Overall, get under him and fuck up his underbelly. Do as much damage to his plow, wheels, bottom plate and take him to the hazards.

Good luck!

Charge out and go to his sides with the drum spinning. Who cares. Push him into the hazards and all around the arena. #rekt goodbye
