Like with my LW match this week, I will take full advantage of my superior drive and avoid his front weapon. I have almost twice the speed and traction he has so getting around him shouldn't be too problematic. HOWEVER, I seriously doubt he'd be able to do too much regardless. His wedge doesn't look as effective my lifter arm and his disc is...bizarre. It's incredibly thick (which means it's either hollow or it'll take forever to spin up), it has teeth that probably won't be able to do too much impact wise and it's angled (which has traditionally not been as effective as either horizontal or vertical spinners). It's also never going to strike me unless he manages to get under me. When the match starts, I'll drive out, maneuver to his corner and try to angle my lifter lip in that gap between his front wedge and his side wedge. If/when I do this, scoop him as far up on the lifter as possible while charging forward. When he's far enough up on my lifter, begin rotating as high up as possible. If successful, I will be able to fully flip him over and get him dead on his ass. He's clearly not invertible or able to self-right, so one flip should seal the deal. Hence, I will keep using this approach for as long as it seems possible. If for some reason flipping him over with my arm isn't working at all (either by pure flipping him over or combining that with slamming him into wall), I will keep doing the same thing but utilize the hazards. Sending hi to the wall drum might result in flipping him over. But I can also ignore that and just take him to the other hazards, killsaws or pulverizers. This would be good because they'll do damage to his 4 armored bot. This is a very weak armor and he could definitely get KOed if he gets enough hazard exposure. As a final, last resort strategy, I could also try just thwacking him with this tail. This would only be utilized if everything else is failing, but it also could work well since my thwack tail and my lifter teeth (which allows me to act as a double-sided thwack) are low to the ground and can probably foil his disc attack. All I'd have to do is spin in place and smack him around. Basically, maneuver around him just to be on the safe side, scoop him with the lifter, try to flip him for the kill - OR - slam him around the arena and bring him to the hazards. Thwack him if necessary or last resort. Good luck! |
