Arm:8 (+1 to front of lifter) Wep:3 Spd:7 Tra:7 Tor:3 Armor: 10 Speed: 7 Torque: 5 Traction: 6 Weapon: 0 Well, in the traditional rock-paper-scissors lore of robot combat, I'm traditionally disadvantaged; however, we're both four-wheeled, and you can't ride a pneumatic flipper for better leverage, so I'm a little less worried. That said, I can't get careless. His flipper's fairly weak, so the only way he's going to get an effective flip on me is for me to be solidly on top of him or more than halfway up the wedge. And a weak flipper is going to retract slower, too, probably slower than gravity. So if he misses or just pops me slightly with the flipper, I should be able to get under his arm before it retracts. If I can do that, I'll pick him up, use my better torque to push him to the hazards, preferably the Pulverizers, and the Killsaws as well. We're equal in speed, so flanking's not really an option. His traction's one better than mine, but my ratio is solid enough; I'm not going to skid around the whole match. His traction advantage should also be negated by my wider body in contrast to his boxy drive train. Just as I've done in my other fights this season so far, I'll focus on using my wide base to angle in and catch CP just right and get under him. And then take him to the hazards. My opponent will no doubt be aware of this as it's becoming a pattern, but keep working at it as best as I can until it doesn't work. I won't be afraid to meet him head-on either. It'll be writer's discretion who gets under whom more often, but I think I can do it, especially since his flipper doesn't have a lip on the front of it for gripping. I should be able to punch under the flipper, even in the event that he decides to fight as a wedge. Fight to get under him either way. If he gets under me, I might be able to J-hook on my rear wheels to get away. As I said above, most of his flips should be weak and ineffective, but even if he gets a good one in, I'm invertible, it's the same attack either way. Just stay on him and capitalize on his flipper's weakness, whether it's not powerful or slow. Good luck, playzooki |

Me: Arm:8 (+1 to front of lifter) Wep:3 Spd:7 Tra:7 Tor:3 Him: Armor: 10 Speed: 7 Torque: 5 Traction: 6 Weapon: 0 -i have the better traction -i have a weapon to flip him around with -i have a flipper that retracts, so i should have a very slightly better wedge. -his better torque wont matter as it will be halved when im underneath anti wedging block ON move out, and attack by ramming keep my front pointed at him if he gets under, wobble myself off by driving or firing the flipper if i get under, shove into hazard, only flip him when im sure im under him be careful around hazards repeat good luck |
