MiDAS won't have a touch to have trust in if I rip his finger right off!

- Okay, so that big-ass scoop is going to be problematic. However, not as much of one as I initially thought. It's part of his lifter still, but it still only gets +2 armour, and he has 6 armour. 8 armour, right? I have 6 weapon points (14 weapon!) over even that.

6-7 more points is lots of damage. Panels and pieces of armor will come off after repeated hits to the same area. Tearing is more pronounced. Large chance of knockout.
8 points or more is one hit KO range.
So basically I could rip the scoop right off. And one hit to the main body would kill him, likely enough.

- Another good thing is that MiDAS isn't much faster and he has the same control disparity. So we'll both be equally fluid in our attacks. Therefore he can't try anything too crafty. Also, his weapon gets split to 7. He can damage me with the axe but it's nowhere near enough to offset what I'll be able to do.

- He has 2 torque. While it's still better than mine, he'll have a bit of a chore pushing me, especially since my high ground clearance means I'll have my wheels on the ground at any time and can escape.

- I'm tempted to go undercutter here, just so he has that much harder of a time controlling me. But I think I'll go normally here. Why? Take a look:Posted Image
With the scoop set-up, his axe doesn't have enough range to get by the disc. So he'll strike the disc. My disc gets +4 armour, so that's 9. 7 weapon to 9 armour... he's not damaging that. Plus, the scoop is narrower near the top, so I can catch edges easier, and I can also likely hit that slot in the scoop as well.

- So that's what I'll try. I'm going to spin up and go aggressively at him, and try and aim for the middle slot or the side of the scoop, with the aim of ripping it off so he can't use it. I will try and impact hard into him too, to amplify the hit. I will then back off (avoiding hazards) to spin my disc back up, and then go at him again. If I'm about to reverse about a hazard, j-hook away from it. Keep hitting him in the exact same places so I have a better chance of ripping off the scoop. When his scoop's gone, go batshit on him. Tear him to pieces.

- If he's going after my sides, I doubt it will work that well. I may have a gyroscope to fight against, but he has 6WD to my 2WD, so turning won't be so great for him really. So just keep the disc pointed at him if this is the case.

- Avoid all hazards and just stick to the middle of the arena when I'm spinning my weapon back up, with my sides facing each set of killsaws. That way, I won't accidentally drive into them.

Good luck Nick.

Fuck Bitches Get Crystals
Scoop setup, please.

+ I have an extra point of Speed over him, plus an extra point of Traction, along with four more wheels. I should be both faster and better controlled than he will be, and I should be able to recover a lot better after a shot from his weapon.

+ Torque is mine, plus I have a wedge and he doesn't. I should be able to push him wherever I like. Add to that the fact he can't get underneath me at all, and I should be able to keep control of the match to a good degree.

+ I have an extra point of Armour over him, so I should be able to withstand more punishment over the match. Plus, my low, wide, shallow scoop should be able to handle his disc for long enough, and my axe should hopefully cause a good amount of damage to his softer chassis.

> I know he'll be trying to get his weapon up to speed, so I'll want to prevent that. Get to him as quickly as possible, so I can be there if his weapon's not at full potential. Depending on which way up he starts the match, my strategy will go one of two ways. Should he start the match in undercutter mode, then I'll try to bring my axe down onto the frontal portion of his chassis, where his weapon mounting, possibly along with his motor, will be. With enough damage, his weapon could end up getting knocked out, plus I believe I can bring my axe into play before his disc meets my scoop, given that my axe is roughly the length of my entire machine. However, if he starts in overcutter mode, this gives me more of a chance to get underneath him, then lift him up and start pushing him around before his disc gets a good hit. His disc really doesn't extend all that far past the chassis. With 7 Weapon power, I should be able to get him up quickly enough. He has some clearance, but I'll still be able to get his wheels off the ground enough to push him around. If I can, then try to overturn him and have his disc meet the arena spikes or the drum. Hopefully that will cause some extra damage to him and keep him from running away with that category.

> If he's spinny-side-down, then there looks to be quite a large amount of ground clearance beneath that disc, compared to other undercutting weaponry, so I have a much better chance of sliding my weaponry beneath him than I would against other spinners such as Malevolence III, which I still managed to get beneath effectively. Should I end up puncturing his chassis with my axe, then that's a great sign. I'll want to keep the axe in him, and try to push or pull him around the arena, preferably to the Pulverizers. They should cave in his large, flat topside quite nicely. The Killsaws could also help damage his weaponry and unbalance his machine, or slide through his tyres and compromise his mobility. With as large a disc as he has, combined with the fact I have more Speed than he does, I don't expect he'll be able to effectively get past my wide scoop, even if he does have two wheels against my six. Keep the scoop pointed at him for the whole fight. Should he try slipping past it, though, then aim to keep my scoop pointed at him, and if he looks to be getting by, then back myself away before he gets a chance to get the disc in.

> If he goes undercutter, bring the axe in and try to control him and ruin his weapon system, shoving him around into the hazards. If he goes overcutter, lift him up and try to turn him over into the walls or drum. Utilise my versatile weaponry to keep his disc from getting any particularly strong hits in. Keep him from getting to my sides, and force him to eat my tougher, shallow scoop. I should hopefully be able to take Strategy and Aggression, while keeping Damage close enough to weather the storm and capture a Judges' Decision if he's still going.

Good luck, Kody, and may the best bot win. =)
