Fuck Bitches Get Crystals

+ He only has one point of traction over me, and I have two wheels compared to his tracks. He will be a LOT less manouverable than I will be, and I should find it easier to keep my front end pointed at him and prevent him getting to my sides. + Torque is equal, but I believe I have the better wedge, as I can force my lifter into the ground, which he can't do with his wedges. Hopefully I can get underneath him more of the time, and control him for more of the match as a result. + He has no active weapon, so he can't really do anything. Plus he's quite low, so there's a chance I could just go straight over him. I, on the other hand, can use my lifter, combined with the plow lip on the other side, to keep him under my control. > Lead out aggressively with the wedge side, and the lifter pressed down into the ground. I know he'll be doing the same, but all his wedges are freely hinged, so I should have the upper hand there. Should he try getting around to my sides, I don't believe he has the manouverability to do that, and I can keep my lifter pointed at him, forcing him into a wedge-to-wedge, where I believe I should come out on top. Slip my wedge underneath him, lift him up enough to get his tracks off the ground, and then push him into the hazards. Killsaws, ideally, they've got a pretty good chance of slicing through his tracks. Repeat this until one of his tracks snaps, and that'll give me the win right there. If I get under his sides, then I'll be doing exactly the same thing, lifting him up and hazardizing him. > If he should get under me, though, then I'll try to drive myself off in whatever way I can, hopefully my wheels still have enough purchase. If not, then I could always use my lifter. If my lifter's raised and he's not on it, then try to keep myself away until I have it lowered again. Keep myself from taking damage from the hazards, and ideally don't let him push me anywhere. I have just as much Torque as he does, so hopefully I should be able to push against him and escape. If he overturns me, I'm fine inverted, so no real change there. > Force him into a wedge war with my lifter, slip under him, lift and hazardize. Killsaws will cut his tracks with enough trips, so do that as often as I can. His far poorer manouverability should mean he can't get to my sides, and he has no way of doing anything apart from pushing if he does. Plus I have every chance to simply drive off and away. I should hopefully take Damage and Strategy here, netting a JD if I'm not able to sever those tracks for a KO. Good luck, Lian, and may the best bot win. =) |

Looking at the terms of control, I seem to have the control advantage in speed, traction and the control disparity. I have the traction advantage by 2 clears points and speed advantage by 1. We both have the same torque value, so any pushing match is instantly going to go to deadlock. But I'm confident that my traction advantage and my tracks should be able to at least push back against him and shove him into the hazards. Underneath that lifter of his, I believe his main body wedge is majorly weaker in comparison to my hinged wedge. The advantage of having a V shaped style wedge is that it focuses all it's driving force into one solid point, which could be a deciding factor in wedging underneath him. Game Plan Alright then, normal wedge set up for this match please - For the start of this match, I'll come out of my square and head straight towards him and focus on getting straight underneath, but watch for any driving trickery or attacks to my sides. When we eventually lock horns, one of three possible outcomes could happen. - Outcome number 1: I am able to get right underneath him. In which case, I'll deploy my usual tactics of shunting him directly into the hazards. Most preferably the hammers to pound on his top armour, whilst 7 is a respectable armour total, enough hammer shots could wear the thing down. Once I have to back off, do so and get right back on the attack again, don't let up and be all over him like an itch. Pinning him against the walls is also another good tactic I could try in netting myself some strategy points and milk the clock at the same time. Use the other hazards available to me also, such as the killsaws. - Outcome number 2: He gets underneath me. If he gets underneath my front wedge and begins to lift, that would only lift the wedge up as it is hinged. If this occurs, then reverse a little bit for the the wedge to drop back down and get straight underneath him before that lifter comes back down. Deploy the same attack tactics as used in outcome 1 - Outcome number 3: We both come to a deadlock. If this occurs, then try to angle in on him to slip underneath the corners of his lifter to get underneath him and ram him about. If that doesn't work, then back up a little bit and ram head on, hopefully the extra force could see me get underneath him. From there, deploy the usual hazard tour tactics - On the defensive side of this match, I'll wanna make sure he can't control me. If he wedges me, then try to squirm about and wriggle free. Better yet, since he has nothing to keep me on that front wedge of his, I could even monster truck over the top and bring my rear wedges into play against his plow before he can swing the lifter all the way round. Avoid the hazards as best as possible, steer clear of them unless I'm the one shoving him into them. Don't be baited by any hazard tactics, play it on the defence when I have too. That should just about cover it, good luck Nick, this oughta be a fun battle!
