I have twice his torque. Equal traction, he's only a hair faster, and while the difference between one's weapon and the other's armor in both cases is four points, the ratios skew my favor: I double him up while he's 1.5x mine. Let's hope that's strong enough.

In the extreme unlikelihood he leads wedge first, get under it and flip. Do it until he breaks from hitting the floor or lands in either Killsaw or Pulverizer territory and the hazards wreck him.

Onto the likelihood that he wants to introduce me to his spinning bar. He'll probably sit and wait to spin up, since he knows I won't make it across the arena on a full box rush. If he does come out, the risk is greater for him. Either way, gotta come out aggressive after him. Watch for him to move to the side to buy him time. And try to collide early. I can't get to his sides without a lucky break, so just hit him. Try to ram him hard. We both have really good traction (especially given that we're not brick rammers), so we won't be thrown too far. This actually benefits me more, since we'll stay close after the hits, and I can get after him before he's back up to full speed. Get in, and get the flip in. And flip him again and again before he can get away and get up to speed. Chase him if he runs away. Yes he can outrun me, but he'll have to drive backwards to keep the bar facing me, which means he's more likely to make a driver error, just cuz driving in reverse is rough. Keep on him and flip him until he breaks. As goes without saying, any shot at his side, take it and flip him. Same with anytime he attacks with his wedge and I get under it. Flip that mutha. But also try to flip him into either the Killsaws, Pulverizer, or try to get him stuck/trapped on the Drum. That'd be awesome.

In the event that the flipper goes out, fight as a rammer. With double torque, I can still push him around. My torque's not great, but if I can succeed in keeping him close, I should be able to get him in the clinches and take him to either the Killsaws or the Pulverizers to wreck him. If my front armor is getting too trashed, hit him with the rear. If I can keep my rear pristine until this eventuality, it should be able to endure enough shots to keep me alive until the buzzer. Hard slams to try and break him. Into the Spikes, Killsaws or Pulverizers. Just try to wreck him as long as I can move my bot.

Good luck, Nick.
There are few crimes in our modern society that merit public beating. Interrupting someone's enjoyment of Messiah to request "Jingle Bells" by the Singing Dogs is irrefutably one such offense.

I've never lived by anyone's rules but my own.
Well, historically invertible spinners tend to be the bane of flippers. Let's prove that.

-Baba has 5 speed. Parasite has 6. So he can't even chase me! I can hit him and then back off to spin up without being challenged. That seems pretty good for me strategically.
-Baba has only 8 armor on the sides and back. My 12 weapon can definitely cause serious damage to that. After enough hits he'll be incapacitated.

My plan is to use my speed advantage and my threat of severe damage to just make his life hell.
-Go right at him, bar-first, approach a bit offcenter with the spinning bar to slip it around the front flipper and into his sides.
-Land a hit and then immediately back off!
-Go in again and do the same.
-Back away to spin up if I have to.
-Give him a lot of weapon, don't get flipped, etc.
-If the sides are chewed up enough, perhaps try using the wedge against them if it's convenient, in which case take him to the pulverizers if I can get under.
-If he tries to flip me, the gyrosocopic force of my weapon will keep me from tumbling and taking damage if it's up to speed.

Good Luck
