Round 1

E Clawdius Unum vs. Hypno-Disc vs. Empty Inside vs. Sewer Snake

Well Clawdius could self-right. Could it self-right against a wall? Nope. And that's exactly what Empty Inside did to it; flipped and shoved it base-first against the spike strips. Of course, with Hypno-Disc AND Sewer Snake now attacking you... well Empty Inside withstood the Hypno-Disc hit, but was got under by Sewer Snake and slammed around the shop. Hypno-Disc avoided Sewer Snake for the most part, giving Empty Inside some nice shots that did a bit of damage, but couldn't resist a cheap shot at the end. For its part, Empty Inside did get a few nice flips, but lost in the judges decision anyway.

Waterloo Sunset vs. Meggamouse vs. V'Ger vs. M.O.E.

M.O.E. just simply dominated. Unlike its fight with Stealth Terminator, the weapon axle bearing never cracked once so it was able to keep the weapon spinning for pretty much the entire fight. The ETEK-powered ditch cutter managed to rip open V'Ger's side and knock Meggamouse around, and even get in a major shot on Waterloo Sunset, tearing the rear corner open. This prompted all three robots to attack it, but V'Ger was having trouble moving. Waterloo Sunset, after realizing this, went after V'Ger, and withstood the weaponry long enough to throw it under the pulverizer, finishing the Yellow Alert robot. Meanwhile, M.O.E. had recovered from the 3-on-1 and was now beating Meggamouse senseless. Trevor Wright's creation managed to get just one flip, which inverted M.O.E. but did little else, and in the end they were beaten into submission.

Qualifiers: Hypno-Disc, Sewer Snake, Waterloo Sunset, M.O.E.

I should go 3-1 this week but it'll probably be something like 0-4 or 0-5.

It sucks going 0-5. You lose all 4 of your bot fights for the week and you also lose at life.

Tough, tough call.

Waterloo Sunset
M.O.E.

And if I hadn't missed those two days early on, I would be in first place right now... by one point, but still!
There are few crimes in our modern society that merit public beating. Interrupting someone's enjoyment of Messiah to request "Jingle Bells" by the Singing Dogs is irrefutably one such offense.

Sorry for the delay, everyone.

Round 2

M.O.E. vs. Hypno-Disc

Again, M.O.E. seemed unstoppable. They manage to disable Hypno-Disc's weapon in just two hits, and then the Rose family machine was beaten around. M.O.E. then backed off when Hypno-Disc couldn't move anymore, and allowed the trashed machine to be counted out.

Sewer Snake vs. Waterloo Sunset

Waterloo basically bossed the Snake around for most of the match. There were a few times where Sewer Snake got under Waterloo Sunset's side and slammed them around, but not as much as Waterloo got under. The Brits get one back in a rather tight JD, and the crowd respond with hearty boos. They are escorted from the premises by a few grim bearded bouncers.

Or I'd better be. There's only so many fake Rolexes I can use as collateral anymore.
