I'm much faster, with better turning (2 wheels compared to his 6), and should hopefully be able to get around to his sides. Let it be known I beat Illusion of Grandeur almost entirely with this strategy and I was even able to get around Fidchell, who had enhanced omni-wheel turning. Bad Wolf doesn't have as strong of a weapon, either, so I'm feeling pretty good here. PLUS, I'm in a great arena for getting hazard support. First off, I will come out with my forks and try to get around his front disc. When I get around him, I will try to scoop his sides and clamp him with my jaws. Once I get a decent clamp, I will attempt to amp the slots and take him to the pulverizers. (I will forget the slots if they are causing too much trouble or wasting too much time.) Why the pulverizers as the hazard of choice? Bad Wolf is extraordinarily thin and I'm somewhat perplexed how his weapon system would work with his chassis shape and whatnot. However, I'll assume it's somewhat fragile (and he only has 5 armor) and that a hard hit from the pulverizers would do irreversible damage and might just take out his weapon. Since I'll be taking him here for the entire match, he'll have to survive 3 minutes of it. If he at any point takes out my jaws, I will try to go around him with the back plow. The strategy remains the same, however - get around him, scoop him, amp slots (optional) and use the hammers to pound him and hopefully destroy his weapon. If/when I kill his disc, he'll presumably come at me with the wedge. And despite that his wedge stat is the same as mine, I'll still try to go around to his sides with my superior drive to be safe. If he does get me on the wedge, he's got no stopper and poor torque and speed, so the chance of him operating as an effective pusher is somewhat impractical. Good luck! |

HIM Speed: 7 Traction: 6 Torque: 3 Armor: 6 Weapon: 3 Wedge: 5 ME Speed: 4 Traction: 5 Torque: 1 Armor: 5 Weapon: 10 Wedge: 5 Start facing him with the disc... start slowly to spin up... drive away from him a little if needed, keeping facing him with the disc... He has more speed than traction AND 2 wheels, I should be more controlled.. be in control, be careful, keep facing him with the disc... Getting to me would be, in turn, a bitch for him... undercutter I am, 2WD he is... upon contact, I HOPE he will be swung away a bit, and be damaged a bit given his armour is decent but not great. Preferably attack his sides... but keeping my disc facing him has a far higher priority... both his front and rear weapon should receive suffering from me. Use that tactic to damage him... NOW, keep an eye open... keep observing the state of his wedge(s)... as soon as it clearly becomes less effective... turn around and wedge him... We both have a wedge stat of 5... but surely when his is battered, I effectively lower this wedge stat... get under, take him to the hazards, preferably the big spinny things because I want to win on damage, badly... GOOD LUCK |
