Ah yes...multibots...the bane of my existence. And even though I have the advantage in speed, traction, armor and wedge, this fight will be no less annoying. The good news I have them both in wedge and my entire body is protected with wedge so no matter where he comes at me from, he'll have trouble actually scooping me up. My strategy is simple, yet just might work. I will immediately target one of them with my wedge (whichever one is closest to the floor flipper.) In fact, I might try to dodge them for a few moments until one of them lurks close to a floor flipper. Then I will go in with my wedge, scoop them up and immediately toss them on one of the flippers and immediately...without hesitation...refocus my attention on the other (who might be slower to keep up with my considering my superior speed). If this all goes well, one bot will be launched sky high (and their only 30lbs each so they'll be flying high), and presumably will take several moments to reposition itself and get back to the attack. Meanwhile, I'll be wedging the other bot and since we're already close to the flipper, presumably, I might just be able to wedge him over the flipper, too. Send him sky high as well! Like I said, I'm hoping this becomes a circus with smoke and mirrors as the trapeze bots. If for some reason that strategy is failing... The second plan of attack is going after the silver one, Mirrors, with the scoop and try to clamp him with the arm. This way, I'll have a clamp on him and then I can turn my wedge to go after Smoke. I might be significantly slower because of this, so if it works, great. If Smoke gets around me easily and scoops me up, I'll at least make up for it by dropping Mirrors right on Smoke. It's a longshot, but if for some reason one lands on top of the other in this case, try to immediately push them both with either wedge or plow quickly! I might be able to throw them both about the arena. Once again, take them to the flippers. Be aggressive, think quickly, focus on one at a time and AVOID GETTING FLIPPED MYSELF. Good luck. |

You're just a voice pal, you don't know a damn thing about racing!

SM Speed: 5 Weapon: 0 Armor: 7 (+1 to the scoop) Traction: 4 Torque: 2 Wedge Effectiveness: 4 Mercenary Speed: 7 Traction: 6 Torque: 2 Armor: 7 Weapon: 2 Wedge: 6 For this battle, what I want to do is try to get in control ASAP. Box rush with one of the twins as soon as the match starts, and get around the back with the other one. If I can get under with one of the twins, then get Mercenary onto the floor flipper and let it get tossed into the air. Hopefully it'll get flipped on its back, and from there I can get under before it self rights and move it onto a conveyor belt. From there just keep in control. GL Chris |
