Vi veri veniversum vivus vici.
Well then, my second fight with Lian is on the cards this week- a rematch with Merry Hampton BR (Who I previously fought in CBBR with Marauder), albeit with a new robot and in a Sumo Match. Hopefully he'll RP against me this time, since I do look forward to our fights, but let's take a look.

Analysis
Flying Scotsman's little brother is actually pretty similar to Lyra in terms of design- a low 4WD box with sloping sides and great speed and durability. He's slightly faster than I am, matches me for wedge potency, and has that heavy snowplough on the front as well. All in all, very solid design- and gets bonus points for the British Railway references. :P

Fortunately, there are a few factors where he does come a bit unstuck. He lacks an active weapon, has less push behind it than Lyra does, and his Traction ratio is worse than mine is, so his control will be a little off as well. Most importantly, however- he may be invertible, but his snowplough and wedges only work one way up. If I can turn him over with the Horn even once, then that could well be Lyra's winning move.

Strategy
Seeing as this is a Sumo Match, driving skill will be very important, here. Move out quickly, and angle in towards his corners. Considering it's Lian I'm fighting though, he'll probably have driving tricks planned (Like reversing or ducking off to the side), so be ready to stop and change course if he suddenly decides to move out the way. If he runs away, follow him and gradually angle in towards his corners with my superior Traction ratio.

When attacking, be aggressive but careful- focus predominantly on getting under and lining up a good shot with my Spike to either flip him or at least knock him off balance. Once I've flipped him over with the Spike, that's my chance- since his wedges will now be useless, get underneath, force him towards the edge, and then finish him by firing the Spike one last time as we approach the side to safely catapult him off without the risk of him, say, driving out the way so I go off instead. That'd just be embarrassing.
Even if I can't do so immediately, I still have options. If we deadlock with the wedges, I can use my superior torque and matching wedge to push him, and can use my superior agility to force my way into his blind spots. He's marginally faster, but I'm definitely fast enough to keep up.

Defence mostly comes down to the usual precautions you'd take in Sumo. Stick near the centre of the ring when I've not got him turned over, keep moving constantly in an unpredictable fashion, and always keep my own sides and corners well-protected. Even with my better Torque and Traction, I can't afford to take any chances.
If he does start to push me though, don't panic. Use the purchase I have on the ground to steer off and/or away from him, and if it's from the back or front, use my Torque to push back against him. Watch for if he tries to dodge out the way afterwards, though.

Basically, it comes down to watching what he does constantly, not falling for anything he might try to draw me to the edge, and being controlled and aggressive throughout. Do what I can to flip him over with my Horn first, and once I've done that, use my superior Torque and Traction to get him off the side and take the win.

Hopefully, this should be sufficient to derail his plans. Good luck though Lian, let's see what you have.

Narumeia Waifu Trash!
Looks like I have Lyra this week... I've been looking forward to this match. Lets see if I can break my Lumina Cloth curse here...

Scouting Analysis: Looking at both bots, we are fairly evenly matched. I however have the speed advantage, which I hope to use to my advantage in shoving him off. We have an equal wedge stat, but here is where my V-Shaped plow comes in handy. The tip of the plow is a driving force in a sense in getting underneath his wedge. What I mean is, the force behind my speed will be driven into one point and should help force my way underneath him, if not, cause some sort of damage to that front wedge of his. He has the active weapon, but the way it's positioned, he'd have to get me all the way up on his wedge to fire it properly. With these points in mind, it's time to game plan.

Game Plan

- From the start, I'll charge into him from the offset. Using my V-shape in my plow to hopefully drive straight underneath him, the only plan I can really have in a match like this is to just charge him straight off the edge of the arena. If I cannot get underneath his front wedge, work on angling in and getting at his sides and corners to charge him off the side. Be wary of any attacks to my sides and corners. If this ever occurs, swing around to face him head on and focus on getting underneath him. Stay away from that spike, which considering where it is positioned, should be a bit easier on me. If I am inverted, then drive at his front wedge at an angle, so I flip myself round and back upright, ready to fight again.

Summary: Be very aggressive, use all my advantages to their fullest. Charge him off the side and be defensive when I have too.

Good luck Alex :D
