Lime-y Speed: 6 Torque: 1 Traction: 5 Wedge: 5 Armour: 8 Weapon: 5 Reaver Speed: 7 Traction: 6 Torque: 3 Wedge: 4 Weapon: 3 Armour: 7 I have better wedge, weapon and power, though he has the better drive train, but that's ok. Lime-y's shape should make it more annoying to push places! Just go after him and flip, if he gets me, get free asap (which should be doable due to the weak hold he'd get on me.) and if I manage to pop him onto, say, a flame jet or similar hazard, hey, bonus! If he gets annoying, spin around to get the flipper plate under his side, and continue as above. Good luck! |

+ Limey's four-wheel drive too? Sweet. That means that with my extra point of Speed, and my extra point of Traction, I should have the faster, better controlled, and more manouverable machine, especially considered how narrow Limey is. + Torque is also mine, with two points in hand, and there's only one point of difference in the wedge fight, so I have a decent chance of getting beneath Limey, and should have an easier time of it pushing Limey around the arena when I do get underneath it. + Limey's flipper only gives it a one-shot attack, and will throw Reaver away, thus giving up control. Reaver's lifter might not pack as much punch, but I should definitely be able to maintain control over Limey a lot better than Limey will be able to control my machine. > Land of Confusion. Let's see how this pans out. I want to keep control, so I'll want to try and slip my forks between Limey's flipper and side skirts. Even if I just get one of them, I think I should be able to lift Limey up enough to get its wheels off of the ground. Once that's happened, then I'll want to push it into the corner and let the jets do whatever they're going to do to Limey. Scorch, freeze, I don't care. Just do some damage or whatever. Pin her there for 30 seconds and then try the same thing until the match is over. If her flipper gets underneath me, then I'll want to drive off of the side of the flipper, which should be easy given her narrow shape. That way, when Reaver gets flipped, then I'll just get turned over and be toppled to one side, rather than being thrown in the air. Try to avoid the flippers on the floor, as they'll just separate us. Lift and control as much as I can. Since Limey's so narrow, I should be able to duck around the side of her easier than with other machines, and even if I don't get under her, I should be able to push her around with my lifting spikes. Basically keep control throughout the match as much as possible. I think my Strategy should work, and hopefully keep the Aggression and Damage categories as close as they could be. Just maintain control over Limey, and don't allow her to get the attacks in that she wants. Good luck, Tracy, and may the best bot win. =) |
