Hephaestus Speed: 5 Torque: 1 Traction: 4 Wedge: 0 Armor: 7 Weapon: 13 Phantasmic Slammer Speed-6 Weapon-2 Armor-8 (+1 to the front of the lifter, -1 everywhere else) Traction-6 Torque-2 Wedge-6 I beat him in the 3rd place match during LoRE, so I can beat him here, Lumina Cloth or not. I want to stay in the center of the arena. This is actually a pretty big arena, so there's plenty of room to maneuver around before getting close to the edges. But mostly I want to stay in the center. I can beat Phantasmic Slammer as long as I can last the match. Well he's got a strong wedge at 11. That will hold solid. But the rest of his body comes down to 7 armor so any hit I manage there will do major damage. That includes those blue wedge corners on either side of his lifter. Like with previous opponents, I'm going to be targeting either side of his wedge. If I can hit those areas, I will also be able to turn him and expose his sides while damaging him. He's not faster than me by much at all. Before targeting those blue wedge corners, I need to keep my front facing him at all times and bring my bar into play as much as possible. My cambered wheels give me a good turning base, and Hephaestus isn't sluggish at all. He'll probably remove those teeth since he's up against a 'spinny thing'. This has pros and cons. If he left the teeth on, then my bar can catch onto them (and maybe even rip them off! Their armor isn't counted in the 'front wedge' because they are a separate item). However taking the teeth off means that it would be harder to control me, and make it easier for me to slip off his front wedge. Hephaestus has a lot of ground clearance with those big wheels, and that was by design to make sure that it wouldn't be high centered by some wedge. The other thing is that, if we are close to the edge of the arena, then there could be a chance that hitting him would actually ricochet him off the arena. He has good traction so the radius for this to happen may be fairly small, but its worth keeping in mind. Stay in the center of the arena and target the blue part of his wedge. Simple as that. Good luck. |

You're just a voice pal, you don't know a damn thing about racing!

Box rush, get him on my wedge and launch him OOTA with the flipper. If that doesn't work reverse and try again until he finally leaves the floor Don't take too much damage, etc GL alex |
