I find it hilarious that two of the big spinners in HW are fighting on the pusher arena... The strategy itself is extremely simple...spin up and hit her with the disc, making sure to keep the disc pointed at her at all times. Stat-wise, we're basically the same as well. This is basically coming down to design, and thankfully after comparing the CADs, it seems as though I may have that advantage... First of all, my disc is so low it may be able to slip right under her blades, despite the fact that her blades are low as well. If this is the case, I may be able to avoid her blades all together when we make contact. However... Even if we do go blade-to-blade, the impact might be drastic enough to make her spin entirely out of control when we make contact. This seems very plausible based on the fact that her teeth are so low to the ground (maximizing the balance issues), and since this has been a major problem with full body ring/shell spinners of the past. Bots like 1-Hit Wonder and Rooster Teeth are just a few who have been hindered by this. If SOTAR does indeed have balance issues, this will also increase the likelihood of her potentially spinning herself out of the arena. As a not-so-likely scenario, if we just so happen to be very near the edge of the cliff and SOTAR is temporarily not spinning...maybe quickly use the wedge to just see if I can quickly push her off the edge. Stranger things have happened, so if it works, it works. This might be more important if for some reason I'm really struggling in the match and this could be a last resort. Other than that, keep that disc pointed at her and go for the KO. Good luck! |

Oh geez, the stats are basicly the same! I might have longer reach however since his disc should go right under my ring, so drive right at Cupid, and go right for the weapon axle and try to hit it until it dies. If I knock out the weapon, I have a better shot, and as a bonus I'll probably bounce myself away from him a bit (as both of us have decent traction stats so we shouldn't be thrown half way across the arena), so just line up to take another shot! Should the disc thing not be working out, I'll try to go for the wheels, if I get lucky I can cripple him. Also trying to keep the fight to the middle of the arena should help, more manouverability. Good luck! |
