She's got a 14 weapon disc, which is nothing to scoff at. However, with some good driving I should hopefully be able to avoid it fairly easily. My speed is nearly double what Fidchell has and since her disc is thin, so as long as I avoid front and center encounters with her, then I should be able to dodge it pretty effectively. Plus, my angled forks were designed to get under the corners of bots and this would work well for maneuvering around and scooping her up from around the silver supports she has on the front. When the match starts, come out aggressively with the forks and try to get around her at all costs. When I get around her, I will try to clamp her on the silver support she has and/or her red chassis. Once I get a good clamp, I should be safe. My superior torque will allow me to take her anywhere I want. The big hazard of choice for this arena will obviously be the floor flipper - they're powerful, good for points and easy to navigate towards. If I get Fidchell on one of them, release the clamp and slide her on the flipper carefully. It could definitely make some impact. A power of ten will probably toss it high up in the air and might make it land in an unfortunate position - despite it's good design, it looks like it MIGHT get high-center/stuck if it lands in a certain way (especially if it lands against a wall). Plus, if the disc hits the floor on landing, it might really fuck up the disc. BACKUP: If I have difficulty with either clamping, maneuvering or pushing Fidchell from the fork side, I will switch it up and use the v-plow to get around to her sides. The v-plow should actually work quite well. I will also use the v-plow if the forks get fucked up. As far as defense goes, there's not much to say other than avoid her disc. I will say if she does strike me, chances are it'll be a glancing blow and that might do limited damage and hopefully wouldn't toss me in the air. Stay aggressive and take total control of the match. Good luck! |

I do seem to have slightly better control then he does, though not much. Keep to the middle of the arena, and try to get my disc pointing at him all the time, the omniwheels in the front ought to help. If I nail him with the disc, I might pop him over. Should I do so, go aggressive and attack until he's KO'd. If things get bad and I can't keep my disc on him, try to line up by a conveyor and try to protect a side sort of and hope it hampers him a bit. If he gets on one, take advantage of it and attack him. Also avoid flippers if possible. Good luck! |
