Stat-wise, we're fairly even (dead even in wedge, speed, traction)...the main difference is he's got better armor, which doesn't really matter for this match, and that I have a weapon and he doesn't. One of the main factors will be who can get under who, and even though our wedge stat is even, I feel the design factor really plays in my favor here. First off, he never specified whether his wedge is hinged or not (and it certainly doesn't like it is it, judging by the CAD), but since he didn't specify, I'll assume it's a static wedge. Also factor in that he's got treads, which means he'll be balanced on his treads and hence, his wedge will not be scraping the ground and will have some kind of ground clearance. With this logical reasoning, I should be able to get under him a large majority of the time... When the match starts, I'll come at him with the wedge and try to get under him with my lifter. If/when I get under him, carry him to the saws (primary hazard of choice) and wall drum (second hazard of choice)... I want to utilize the saws primarily because, despite his great armor, he will ironically be very susceptible to tread damage with the saws slicing into them if I get him there. Past history (along with basic logic) indicates that treads can easily get ripped off if a spinning blade hits them, so this seems like a viable option for me. I will also utilize the wall drum, too, because the drum is good for potentially flipping bots. And if I ever get him flipped, he'll have almost no wedge effectiveness at all, so I wouldn't have to worry at that point for getting under him. I will also try to flip him using my lifter (not relying on it) but if I manage to slam him to the wall or get lucky, it might happen. Basically just stick to using the lifter/wedge combo for the fight and take him to the hazards as often as I can. Good luck! |
