I've got the huge advantage in wedge effectiveness, which is a big bonus in any rammer vs. rammer matchup (especially with equal torque). He's also got a weapon that probably won't amount to much as far as damage/strategy purposes, so there's no huge threat when the fight commences. I'll remove the shield for this match just in absolutely worse case scenario I get flipped. Regardless of that, I feel the wedge is more appropriate since, the shield is meant more for pushing/deadlocks, but since we're even in torque, the shield would probably not be nearly as effective as the wedge. Therefore, stick to the wedge. I'll come at him with the wedge and push him to any and all available/nearby hazards. The hammers and/or bumpers would be a good source of damage so I'll go to those the most. The arena hazards are extremely powerful for this arena so if I can get him there a lot, I'll get a lot of damage points, despite his decent armor. Even if he somehow gets under me...we'll just deadlock between his downward spikes and his steep wedge, which won't really amount to anything for him since we're equal in torque. And if he decides to fire his spikes in that moment (which honestly shouldn't cause ANY damage), then he'll just lift himself up, making me get under him anyways. So there's no real good options for him here. Be weary of the hazards when I'm moving about the arena. Stay aggressive but focused. Good luck! |
