+ We're both two-wheel drive machines, but I have two points of Speed, and two points of Traction in hand. I should therefore be faster and more manouverable during the fight, and since he has to fight the torque of his own weapon, probably better controlled as well. + Torque is in my favour, so I will be able to win a straight pushing match. I also have wedges all around, and he has no wedging whatsoever, so I will always be able to get underneath him, and shove him around more or less as I see fit. + My Armour at the front end becomes 9 as a result of the Weapon Armour rule, so I should be able to withstand a decent amount of what he tries to do to me, provided I keep the front end pointed at him for as long as possible. > The fact Kraze is a good deal faster than Ringer is paramount to my strategy in this match. I will do the usual when fighting a spinner, attempt to rush him at the start of the match, keep the front end pointed at him at all times, and generally chase him down, not giving him any breathing space whatsoever. The good thing about the Land of Confusion - for me, at least - is that all the hazards are situated around the perimeter of the arena, so I should be able to reach him quicker than in other arenas, since there are no hazards for him to hide behind. When I reach him, I don't think his weapon should be fully up to speed, so there won't be as much damage caused. Whatever the outcome of the first coming together is, I'll want to get myself in underneath him as soon as I possibly can. I can do this a lot easier from the sides or the rear, so if I get this opportunity, then take it with both hands. > As soon as I get underneath him, flip him. And when he lands, flip him again. And when he comes down from that one, flip him a third time. Do not stop flipping him. Herd him towards one of the corners of the arena, where the flame/CO2 jets are, and pin him there for as long as I can. It will be causing him damage, albeit very slightly, but still causing him damage, and it will be preventing him from getting attacks in. Once the 30 seconds have elapsed, then go back to flipping him constantly, or if he attempts to escape. Avoid the floor flippers, as they would simply separate us, and I want to keep as close to Ringer for as long as possible. If my flipper should somehow stop working, then just keep pushing him around with either the front or the back, whichever's easier. If I can slow the weapon down, then that will help me a lot, so I'll try doing that, slamming him against the wall and the like. Just stay in control of him for the whole damn match. > Rush him as quick as I can, get underneath, and just keep flipping him. Shove him into the corners, don't let him get separation between us. Let the flame jets burn him up a little. Avoid the floor flippers, keep his weapon slowed down, don't let him get it up to speed. Show as much Aggression as I possibly can, keep the Damage category as close as I can, and use my Strategy to take his weapon more or less out of the equation. I should be able to take a Judges' Decision if all goes to plan. Good luck, Martijn, and may the best bot win. =) |

HIM Spd: 6 Tra: 6 Tor: 2 Wdg: 6 Wep: 3 Arm: 7 ME Speed: 4 Traction: 4 Torque: 1 Wedge: 0 Armour: 7 Weapon: 14 I desire to destroy his armour! ok... spin up, obviously, then go to the center of the arena and really, desirably, stay there, the center of the arena is where I want this fight to happen we both have as much speed as traction, we both have 2wd, we both are equally controlled roughly... he is a bit faster... but I can still turn on the spot just fine and desire to use this ability to face him with my undercutter at all times... this should put a dent in his wedging wishes! This way I force him to move all the way around my circumference while I stay put and turn around my axle, he may be faster, but I also cover him to cover a greater distance. Move in for good shots whenever I get the chance really... preferably NOT towards his weapon, but heck, if a great oppurtunity arises... see... his armour is 50% of my weapon power... and he does only have 2WD... he WILL be damaged, and he WILL bounce away (as will I, I shall not deny that!). If I get flipped by them flipper things... I AM fully invertible... just continue applying the above tactics... GOOD LUCK |
