-Rammer vs. Spinner, Green vs. Teal (?), obscure reference vs. memetic one! -Well I don't what kind of hocus pocus GF will have for this one, but Green Hornet also appreciates delving into the world of magic. Particularly Dark Magic. In fact his specialty is a little number called Sectumsempra! Yes it's known for causing horrific gashes and leaving the cursed victim perminately disfigured. -So how do we make use of this? Well I'll get the disc up to speed and then make sure I keep it pointed at Lyra. It only has a one point speed advantage which will make getting around a large disc like Hornet's extremely difficult. Point Two, Green Hornet is an undercutter so Lyra can't really expect to get under the disc with the wedge. Finally, Green Hornet's disc is twice as powerful as Lyra's armor. 14 to 7 is no joke and it shouldn't take too many hits to start warping that armor pretty well. -After contact, make sure I get the disc facing Lyra as soon as possible and get it back up to speed. Really try to avoid getting wedged by it. There's not really much in the way of damaging hazards for Lyra to exploit, but it's best just to avoid the whole situation altogether. -Strictly speaking it doesn't really make much difference to my tactics if Lyra comes out front first or rear first. Neither has an armor bonus of any kind so my disc will do just as much damage either way. If Hornet gets flipped at some point, he can still function effectively as an overcutter and my gameplan will remain unchanged. -So basically just try to cause as much direct damage as I can and avoid getting wedged and pushed around (and gored by the horn for that matter). If I can be consistantly assertive, do so, but keep my disc facing the opponenet at all times! Good Luck! |

Undercutter in the Land of Confusion. Fuck. Analysis Coming from Josh, it's obviously a good machine- big undercutting disc, with a good turn of pace, decent(ish) Traction ratio, and he's invertible too. That, and we're in the Land of Confusion, so there's not a lot I can utilise to damage him. That's not to say I won't have ways to win, though. I have the better drive in general with a higher and perfectly-balanced Speed/Traction Ratio, good enough resistance to stand up to him for a while with my angled skirts, and two ways I can effectively push him- with the rear scoop or the wedge. His armour is pretty substandard as well, so as long as I can make use of these factors, I might have a chance. Strategy Well, onward to thy doom. I'll want to keep the weapon (The horn) protected to start with, so I'll start by REVERSING into him- that way, I can more easily push him with my solid rear scoop, and keep my Horn protected until I need it. Move out quickly, reverse into him to absorb the initial blow, and then use my Speed to force him into the wall. From there, it'll mostly come down to keeping close to him at all times and doing whatever I can to stop him from spinning up. Get under him from the front once I've slowed down the Disc enough, and use Lyra's horn to flip and shunt him around as much as I can- being aggressive, keeping him herded near the walls and not giving him any opportunities to recover should help, here. Get him onto the Floor Flippers and the Jets when I can, too- the thermal shock and/or impact from the hard landings can in theory do good damage to his Disc mechanism. Defence, basically do what I can to prevent him from spinning up. Stay close to him, always keep either the front or back wedge underneath as much as possible, and try to approach him from the back and sides where I can. Otherwise, just use basic common sense- don't stick near to the hazards when I don't need to, keep the sides and front well-protected from the disc, and keep on top of him the whole time. As long as I can keep the disc slowed or stopped, he can't hurt me. Basically, be aggressive, but not reckless. Don't let him spin up- use my rear scoop to block him initially, and from there utilise my superior drive and wedges to shovel him about, force him onto the defence, and generally make use of what I can to fight him. I doubt I'll win, but as long as Lyra puts up a good fight and doesn't die, that'd be good enough for me. Good luck Josh- although I can tell you probably shouldn't need it.
