Teh Moderator Posts: 1,643 Group: Moderators Member #237 Joined: August 26, 2008	We have had this "contest" called "Member of the Week" for a while here on the forums, the old thread was getting awfully big and this way by creating a new thread we can keep control of it again. There are many people on this forum who click everyone's eggs, help everyone, and are very caring members. It is time for them to get a reward. Hopefully this will ALSO encourage people to stop being rude, breaking rules and posting spam. Here's how it works. We decided that if the admins just picked someone each week it would be unfair. So, YOU will be picking the member of the week each week. In this post, post the username (full username, not a nickname) of the member you wish to nominate. Every Saturday we admins will tally up the vote, break all ties, and nominate the member of the week. The member of the week will get his or her name at the top of the forum and will receive a special title. You can nominate admins, but try to nominate other people too. A person on this forum will be nominated each week by the forum's members. There are various reasons why a person should be nominated, which might include some of the following: - Kindness - Helpfulness - Willingness to listen - Random comforts Alright, now for the rules. There aren't much, so make sure to read them! I've decided to put them in point form since it's easier to read. - Please only vote for one* person. - Put your nomination in bold and purple. - Refrain from spamming the thread! From now on, I'm also going to make important announcements in green. The MotW for each week will be announced on Wednesdays, at 8:00pm PST. I want to give a gracious thank you to DreamingShadows for kindly offering to make the banners! And also to Disolia for the past banners that she made. =) ~Vote Updates~ Each week, I will be posting the updates of the nominations here.
