NEW: Forum Skin

We are getting a new one. However, you CAN NOT be picky. Zeta doesn't have many skins to choose from and they are hard to edit.

ISSY FOUND A BETTER ONE WITH HER SEARCH POWERS!
At this rate, this will be the new skin, and it will be final for awhile. NO, we are not going to put multiple skins up. That just irritates other members and it takes forever to edit them all. Plus, you guys use color fonts that show up fine on yours, and hard to see on others. To avoid all that, we will have one skin, and one skin only.
So far we have 12 votes on this skin.

OKAY! We need to do more stuff around here. Seriously... Even the crickets stopped chirping
I will be making some possible suggestions here, you guys can tell me what you think, or tell me to stop giving horrible ideas.
ART SECTION:
Maybe we can start having people volunteer to create matching Avatars for Incubators and signatures? I will be one of the people there accepting requests, and I know there are some other talented artists and photoshoppers on here that may want to join in. Just a suggestion, but it's hard finding something that matches your signatures most of the time.
Group projects? Maybe have group art competitions that will have rewards? I dunno. Just ideas.
If you request signatures and what not, maybe there can be a price in posts or eggs?
RULES:
Someone DELETED the RULES thread... I don't know who, and I don't know why. But it was a looong time ago, and I am going to re-make them with your guy's help. Please PM me suggestions for the new rules.
MODS AND ADMINS:
I am thinking of opening up spots for more Admins and Global Mods. However, I will be creating the APP outline that one must fill out to attempt one of these positions. I will say right now you must be 15+ years old at the minimum for that.
13+ years for section Moderators. Some areas of this forum need to be watched over and cared for. v.v As a Mod of a section, you will probably need to get some life back in it. Depending on what section it is.
New Mods: GRATS GUYS!

It's pretty dead. However, you may invite whoever you like to join this forum to RP there. Just as long as you follow the rules there should be no issues. I am thinking of having an approval area much like DC. Tell me if you guys would want that or not.
GIVE SUGGESTIONS FOR STUFFS! D: I am also looking for someone who can tell me how to create an auto scrolling banner for the forum so we can put these updates up at the top so you guys can notice them easier... >.>

Alright, I am now opening the Volunteer section up for new recruits. Basically we need people willing to create and update incubators again... >.> Since I just went through and demoted 5 people who were inactive for the passed like 5 months. <.<
Anywho. If you are interested, please go to that section and post in the threads I put up.
IF you have threads in the "INCUBATOR STYLES" section. You have a week to tell me to save your thread before I go in there and delete the old ones. I'm just cleaning up, and don't want to delete anyone's thread if they don't want me to. v.v

I'm getting slightly irritated at the shoutbox. I dunno what it is, but I kinda feel we should get a new one with better colors. For now, I will set up a POLL so you may tell me if this is a good or bad idea. Depending on what happens after that, we can discuss colors and all that good stuff.
The one I have in mind will have more customization per person, and it will be placed at the end of the thread code. So you will be able to access it while in other threads without having to go to the front of the forums.

New Hidden Forum

I recently made a Spam section under Off Topic. It mostly works, but I thought I'd go one step farther - Make a hidden subforum where you can just post about anything. Debates, rants, whatever.
This forum is hidden, and can only be accessed by a special usergroup I've made. If you wish to access it, go ahead and drop me a PM. No spammers/immature people though, this is a bit of a mature forum.
By default, only Administrators can access the forum, so even if you're a mod you have to PM me for access. Feel like the forum needed some place where people can rant and talk about whatever without having to worry about upsetting anyone, so being there is completely optional =p

I have been getting a lot of alerts about some members scamming eggs.
This is done by using a scroll that is not theirs that contains an egg someone is willing to trade for. Once they convince the individual they have the egg (which is on the scroll that does not belong to them) , they have their victim drop the egg first, and inform the trader that they did not receive it. (Which they did.) This results in the innocent trader losing a rare or important egg.
I have had to ban a couple members for doing this. If you guys do suspect someone has been scamming you on here or is scamming someone else, please let me know so I can ban and delete the account.

We have had this "contest" called "Member of the Week" for a while here on the forums, the old thread was getting awfully big and this way by creating a new thread we can keep control of it again.
There are many people on this forum who click everyone's eggs, help everyone, and are very caring members. It is time for them to get a reward. Hopefully this will ALSO encourage people to stop being rude, breaking rules and posting spam. Here's how it works. We decided that if the admins just picked someone each week it would be unfair. So, YOU will be picking the member of the week each week. In this post, post the username (full username, not a nickname) of the member you wish to nominate. Every Saturday we admins will tally up the vote, break all ties, and nominate the member of the week. The member of the week will get his or her name at the top of the forum and will receive a special title. You can nominate admins, but try to nominate other people too.

No complaining about votes
And keep it cool

Okay, we've been getting a lot of complaints about signature size, so we are adding an area limit to make things easier. From now on, your signature must be no larger than 700 pixels wide by 350 pixels tall. This is what that looks like:
If you have an incubator that is slightly larger, that is fine. Signatures that exceed this size will be removed without any notice. You should be reading these rules anyway. So, sorry.

A lottery, yes... This is what it is.
Tickets for the lottery come in different intervals, green being lowest up to red. The more you pay, the more you can win.
Costs
Green - 10 Posts
Yellow - 30 Posts
Red - 50 Posts
Winnings

As you can see, red is the best deal as you get more bang for your buck.
