To turn on pm pop-ups go to "Inbox" than under "Message Center" click "PM System Settings" than chose "Yes" on the third option "Display an alert whenever you receive a new PM" finally click "Save Settings" To remove messages from your Inbox, go to "Inbox" select the messages you want to remove and click the "Archive" button on the lower right. The messages you selected will be moved to the "Archive" folder on the left. |

Alright y'all... in an effort to clean things up a bit I want to hear your opinions about the site... How do you think it could be made better? Do you think there are certain sections of the boards that could be put together. Sections that no one uses at all? New sections that should be added? Are there changes you would love/hate? I won't make changes without alerting everyone first. This is your time to give me your ideas. I'll read and consider each one. If you see an idea from someone else you like, tell me! I know we all won't agree, but lets see what we can agree on to change. We want this to be an awesome place again and we want Mrs. Paul to feel comfortable with us again. Right! |

I think that Other Dragon Books.. kinda pointless. I mean We have "other books" the "Other Dragon books" could fall into that category, right? |

I'm of the opinion that the forum is amazing as it is and only small changes are could be helpful But yeah, "Other Books" and "Other Dragon Books" could be reduced to one category. But if DragonSpell through DragonLight have their own personal topic, shouldn't The Vanishing Sculpture? It's kind of all alone... :( Questions and Concerns could possibly be combined with Feast Hall. Newbies always have "questions and concerns" and the feast hall is a "place to meet and greet", and you meet ad greet newbies... But really, I'm happy with the way it is now. The topics that could be joined together aren't hurting anyone being apart. ~~ But I like having access to the forum from the fansite. This IS a fansite. Billy's the newest member and he joined August 25th. We used to have a newbie once/twice a week. Granted, not many of them stuck around for ling, but at least there was growth. I miss PMing the Newbies. Maybe I'm just being ignorant, having only seen spam on here once, but I loved having that many newbies joining constantly. If we're worried about spam... there is always going to be spam. We can't completely disappear off the internet and never face a spammer again. They will always find us. I do think that the addition of a couple more mods would be a good idea, I just looked through the forums and the mods that were assigned to them and noticed that very few of them log on anymore :( I also agree with the merging of "Other Books" and "Dragon Books", but I think that it might be good if "Questions and Concerns" remained as its own area of the forum and not be merged with anything. I say that because I know when I was a newbie and had a question about something, it was nice to be able to have a clear and distinct place to go to ask that question instead of wondering where the appropriate place to post it was. |

If she is willing, I think that Teh Lady Randomness would be a good mod. Callista would be a great mod as well, especially since she has the experience of being a mod on other forums if I remember correctly. :) |

MM! MM should be a Mod! MM is nice to everyone! :D Yup, I love for MM, she's been on for over a year, is on a lot, and I've never heard of ANYONE who didn't love her. :D |

I also agree about merging Other Dragon Books and Other Books. Otherwise I think the forum is pretty good as it is (though I'm rather new...) I totally think MM and Callista would make great mods ^_^ |
