How many people haven't read this book? The dragon here is Smaug. It's funny in the movie when Smaug tries to barbaque (sp?) Bilbo and his pants start on fire. I thought this book was really good.

Both the book and the cartoon version are good but the cartoon version is funnier since you can see what really happens. Did you know they might make The Hobbit into a movie?

Yea, but last I heard, they were still trying to get the rights for it.

Yeah, I think PJ is thinking of making The Hobbit in a real movie. Not the cartoon. I'm dying for him to make up his mind. He better make the movie.

I think his studio is trying to get the rights still as earlier mentioned.

That's what I heard. If New Line gets the rights I would be surprised if PJ didn't make it. I thought I read that he said after King Kong he would be willing to make it.

Maybe...however I have some reservations as to why he would do KK before the hobbit.

He grew up on it. Seems to have a real close connection with it or some such thing.
