maybe they should add a "Complaining" sub board so the complainers don't have to muck up the good threads. That way if I want to read complaining, I can go to that sub board. JMHO

That would not be a bad idea. After seeing the first tests speeds there would have been some today!

Good news for me is my buddy is bringing the Snickers hat he picked up at Tally tomorrow.

oh yeah...defininely give a warning.

But the premise needs to be.....complain all you want, BUT......DO NOT BASH!!  It can be done.

The RRFF only has admin...no moderators.  I think the admin needs to appoint a couple moderators that can at least delete posts and threads.  Leave banning to the admin.

Chris,

I agree about the having moderators, but the site won't allow it. I have been asking about that since 2002. It would make things much easier. You could have cards that could be issued and once they received their second warning cardm they were banned.

Chris, having moderators is a wonderful idea. I like that.

Marine, any idea why they won't allow moderators? Did anyone give an explanation?

I agree about giving them a warning. Issuing cards is a good idea. Adding to that idea how about when they are issued a card or "warning" their user name changes to a different color. First warning Yellow and 2nd Red. Third offense they are OUT period. That's if you give them 3 strikes and your out. Changing the user name color will be a reminder that they are on the "bubble" and may be on the way out. That might embarrassing them enough on the first warning that they will need shape up or ship out. The only exception would be the ones that come in just for the sole purpose of being rude or vulgar. They don't deserve a 2nd chance. GONE!

Well the board is still down. To be honest, I don't get what shutting down the board accomplishes. The posts that were offensive should have been deleted and someone (admin or whoever) should have warned those that apparantely got Ricky upset.

On another note, my buddy let me down this weekend so I don't have my hat yet!
