Queen
Rose - Opal
Character Name: Soleil Everard
Age: 20
Caste: Queen
Social Status: Aristo
Birthright: Rose
Offering: Opal
Race: short lived
Birth Territory: Dharo, Kaeleer

Starting Money:

Appearance: Long blond hair that shines with good care tumbles past her shoulders and falls in perfect waves. Her eyes are gray and almost always look bored. It's when she looks interested or inquisitive that you should worry. Or worse, happy. Because if she's happy some one else is crying. Maybe bleeding. Her face is composed entirely of angles, high cheekbones and the kind of beauty that only comes with good breeding. Her lips are a pretty pink that's just dark enough that she doesn't need to color it and just pale enough that you know her hair color is natural.

Her skin tone is light and she is always meticulously put together. Her figure is slight but there's a scary amount of strength in her arms and legs that no one would suspect if they didn't know her. She'll never be tall, but it's not necessary. She rules her court, her family, and her Territory with an iron fist that none within dare escape.

Personality: Soleil is a twisted creature. Throughout her life she has had her every single whim attended to with all due haste. She's a spoiled little brat who expects everything she wants to be presented to her on a silver platter. Though, mixed in there somewhere, are a sense of right and wrong it always comes second to her own wants and needs. She uses Blood Law and Protocol against others and dismisses it's restrictions on her own pleasures. She wants and expects adoration from all around her and won't permit anyone to give her any less that their total attention. She is a sadistic bitch who will not bend for anyone if their desires are contrary to her own.

No one means anything to her. The only person she sort of trusts is her great aunt, Rhone. All the others are playthings, there to amuse her and nothing else. The mean nothing to her now, nor will they ever. She has been raised from the cradle with the belief that everything else was put in the world to amuse her. She revels in causing pain, especially when they cannot escape her. She loves it. It gives her eyes an extra twinkle and she will give out punishments or favors just to see others fighting to get them. She's very immature, but would never admit it.

History: Soleil's mother died in childbirth. She was raised by her great-aunt Rhone. From the moment she was born she was the head of the family and her every desire was given to her. Even as a child people followed any order she gave to them, no matter how bizarre or how much trouble they caused. She was never punished and was kept away from any other children her age. From the cradle she was told that others were below her, playthings for her to amuse herself with. As a teenager she even helped her aunt train her favorite toy, a man named Jozuah. Her aunt taught her things, to love giving pain as much as pleasure. More so, if she were honest with herself.

So she grew up, beloved, feared, respected, hated. A spoiled child who never realized that as she indulged herself her Aunt is planning and arranging, pulling all the strings. She went through life, attracting males with her power and caste and enslaving them with that same attraction and a healthy dose of fear. She dominates other women in the family, uses them and loves to make them hurt.

She has very little in the way of ambition or dreams. Quite frankly she lives from day to day, minute for minute. Rhone is the one with the grand plan, and she generally listens to her Aunt. She can be charming, she charmed the Queens of Dharo into thinking she wasn't a sadistic, twisted, child. She seduced and scared 12 males into helping her form her court. She and her aunt have weaved a web of deception and fear over Dharo since then, some Queens will swear she is the most DARLING child, others are too scared to stand against her. Soleil couldn't care less, as long as she has reign to do as she wishes when she wishes.

Offering Post Soleil walked quietly. Two of her Rose Jewels were in her hands as she approached the Altar and the Priestess who stood as it's guardian. She offered the woman a smile that she wouldn't normally have deigned to give a woman so far below her own rank. She was feeling generous tonight, like nothing could go wrong. Tonight was her Offering and she couldn't wait. Rhone said she needed at least the Opal to hold Dharo. Wouldn't it be just lovely to be a Territory Queen! The money, the power, the parties! Soleil couldn't wait. She followed the Priestess into the Altar and took the athame and little cup for her blood.

She knew the ceremony. She knew exactly what to do when those great doors closed. Soleil crossed the room with her eyes bright and focused on the Altar's dark expanse of stone. With callous disregard for the Darkness she slammed the cup down in her haste. When she had the tip of the knife against her own flesh though, she hesitated. This was going to hurt. She didn't want to hurt, but Rhone had said it HAD to be her own blood. Soleil hadn't liked that, she'd wanted to bleed Jozuah and use his instead. It was ok to hurt HIM.

But Rhone had been so sure, and Soleil didn't want to mess up the ceremony. There was only ever one chance to do this. She forced herself to cut into her palm, tearing up the whole time. Stupid Rhone and stupid Jozuah! This hurt! She smeared the blood on the Altar. "Happy?! Give me my power!" Then she was falling, falling into the dark and she knew no more.
