With an almost wistful look in her eyes, the young girl stared out at the horizon, a basket of wildflowers clutched in her hands. She was obviously Aristo from her outward appearances, but the way she moved made her seem more like a commoner than anything. She didn't carry herself with the arrogance that most of the Aristo Blood did. She wore a Rose Jewel in a simple silver setting that looped three times around her neck on a matching silver chain. It wasn't an expensive setting to say the least. Belladonna was not what she would consider beautiful, or even pretty, though many had said otherwise on more than one occassion. She was short for her age, and looked at least three years younger than she actually was. Besides, this, she was also very slim, which didn't help her look any older. She had narrow shoulders and graceful hips. For her stature, her legs seemed long and slender, like a newborn colt's legs. All in all, she looked to be a very delicate creature. Her lips always seemed to curve into a small, faint smile, even when she was obviously cross with someone, and her large golden eyes gave her the look that she was an innocent young girl. Secretly, she was pleased with this fact, because it threw people off whenever her temper was triggered. It seemed they thought she didn't have one. Well, of course she had a temper. She was a Blood female after all. Heaving a large sigh, she pulled her eyes away from the horizon and the sinking sun and trudged towards her family's large manor home. It would be another evening of lessons with her sisters and then off to bed. She hoped she'd be able to sneak out to the barn, for she'd stopped by the market in town to pick up a couple of fresh carrots for her favorite gelding. At the moment, they were carefully hidden underneath the flowers. With the thought that she might be able to sneak in a visit before dinner, she picked up her pace and trotted down the dirt road. |
