Chansity Blake -- Requesting Dark Birthright Jewel Character Name (first and last): Chansity Blake Age: 24 years old Caste: Blackwidow Healer Social Status: Aristocrat Birthright: Opal Race: Human Birth Territory: Dharo Starting Money: 950 Appearance: Chansity could be considered exotic when around some of the Evards like the Evenards Matriarchs. Chansity has long thick raven locks and a pair of the most intense blue eyes that you ever did lay your eyes. Her eyes are not too small but not too lage either. She has a somewhat heart shaped fac with a not so pointed chin. Chansity stands at five foot four and a hundred and twenty pounds. She has the build of someone that doesn't just sit around but actually get sher hands dirty in the craft and outside of it. Chansity has a slight hourglass build but obviously toned from strenous workouts. Typically she will wear attire fit for court but outside of that, does not wear dress at all. Instead she'll wear slacks, comfortable shirts, and boots. Personality: Chansity Blake is in one word, "defiant". She does not have her own set of rules, but she will not be trampled over. Chansity has a strong sense of right and wrong and able to tell the difference. It's always been in her blood, she may not have known her mother but it's obvious that her mother passed down genetics that are defiant at best. The genetics that require her to do what she thinks is right and damn the consequences. Chansity is a Healer by nature, she will heal those that are in need of it unless they've hurt those she cares about. She is a healer first but when it comes to hurting her and those she cares about, she is vengeful with a passion. When Chansity enters a pack, she holds to it. Promises are very important to her. History: The history of Chansity Blake goes back a generation or so, during the time Olivia Blake, the daughter of the Blake Matriarch. In an effort to create an alliance with another family in Kaeleer, Olivia was arranged to marry Dagon Evanard, the nephew of the Evanard matriarch. Had the Blake Matriarch Lior seen the Evanards true intentions she would have never allowed her own daughter to marry into such a family. There had been those that had warned Lior that the marriage between the next matriarch and Dagon would only end in pain and suffering for all included. Olivia had thought she could grow to love Dagon but what she experienced was a loveless marriage. Olivia spent many nights alone in the cold bed, Dagon rather wanting a Red Moon whore than to warm the marriage bed. She had begun to dedicate herself more to the crafts she was born to, never leaving the small home she was in much to the anger of Dagon's family and the Matriarch. After two years, they had not laid together as man and wife. Instead Olivia had secluded herself in her craft and had become unwilling to bestow any interest in her husband, not that he would have noticed. When Olivia was questioned about this, she told them the truth much to their displeasure. They tried to blame it on her that she was unwilling to consumate the marriage. What they discovered quickly was the sharp temper of a Blackwidow Healer was not to be enraged lightly. Olivia declared that the blame was not her but on Dagon himself, that he would rather bed a Red Moon whore than his own wife. Without being dismissed, she walked out and they attempted to stop her. Olivia asked them if they had ever experienced a Blackwidow's poison. It didn't matter Olivia's Jewel strength, the fact she was a natural Blackwidow Healer meant she could do much damage to all of them without batting an eyelash. They quickly moved out of her way. The Matriarch demanded Dagon consumate the marriage, knowing that if it wasn't consumated within six months, the marriage would be anulled as original guidelines set by Lady Lior Blake. Dagon's attempt at consumate the marriage didn't work out so well. Olivia refused any attentions he made towards her, she knew why he was making them... Not because he wanted her. Dagon managed to manipulate Olivia enough to get suffomate down her throat that he could succeed in his plan that led to a pregnancy. Olivia refused to be in the vacinity of the man, knowing that the child would be the next matriarch. She always sent letters to her mother that in truth never made it to her. Olivia hated the family that her own child would have no choice but be a part of. It was the night of Olivia's birth that things went terribly wrong. The night Olivia gave birth, the baby survived as did the mother. However, in the weakened state she was poisoned by Dagon with Witchblood and the child taken. The Blakes took the body of the mother not realizing what would happen next. That the would not be allowed near the next in line for Blake Matriarch. Chansity despite what she had been left with, two members of the Everard family did take care of the infant and raised her as their own. As an infant she was happy and was raised by the ones she would call her mother and father. They saw to every care she might need and avoid the wrath of the matriarch. Chansity slowly but surely grew up and was spitting image of all the Blake women. She had thick black hair, intense fierce blue eyes, and light complected. It was something that was undeniable, she was a Blake, a defiant Blake, deep down. Chansity was a happy child, always clinging to the Everards that loved her as if she was their own. When she was four years old was the first time she ever actually met the others. They all gave her cold looks, the adults did... The children however wanted to play with her which she obliged much to her own grandmother's anger. She hated the little girl who had so much untapped power within such a small body. It was at her birthrite ceremony did her grandmother hate her greatly.... She had received opal. It was then her grandmother took her away from the parents she knew and tried to shape the girl into a weapon easily used by the the Matriarch, what she got was something completely different. Chansity was trained in the Healing and Blackwidow crafts but was already a natural in both crafts. She learned quickly that a Blackwidow was to be feared and respected, something she did not receive from anyone in her family. As the family parties happened, Chansity was sneared at by all. When Soleil recieved her birthrite, there was obvious dislike between the two. Soleil hated Chansity because of many things, most especially because of the birthrite. At age seventeen, Chansity was approached by Jozuah who had offered to see her through her Virgin Night. Chansity knew very well that when it came to the Virgin Night, it was not about love... That is why she accepted his offer, not knowing that the following night, someone would have been sent to break her. Jozuah saved her mind and her Jewels. It was because of that, Chansity built a friendship with Jozuah, giving him stimulents to dull the pain and healing him often when he needed it. It was how the Blackwidow Healer came to know Rhaevin, who she on more than one occassion did the same for. Chansity continued to grow up alongside them and very protective of Rhaevin in the way an older sister would be. She never tended to the Matriarch even when she was beaten herself, she often spat out obsenties and telling those that beat her and whipped her that she would kill them herself with her own poison. For that she was beaten harder until she was dragged away. The Healers of the family were informed not to heal her. Chansity had to heal herself and because of it, she held true to the promise she told them all. The men who had beaten died within two day's time of Witchblood. Chansity became an obvious threat to the Everards, more so than Olivia had been. The witch had only been a Purple Dusk witch, still considered light jeweled but Chansity was not. It was a month after the death of the beaters that she disappeared without a trace as did Rhaevin Everard. --- Player Name/Nickname: Phalon |
