Black Widow Queen
Opal - Red
Shayla stood in front to the mirror and stared at the woman in that was reflected in the shinny surface. Staring back at her was a young woman with dark red hair and green eyes. This woman could be call attractive by some and just plain by others; a girl on the cusp of being a woman still. There stood a Queen barely old enough to rule, but as the strongest Queen to be born in her Province in years, rule she did. Sighing, the young queen turned away from the mirror and shrugged on her jacket. She would take a ride maybe that will help clear her head some.

Turning around, she walked away from the woman and the mirror and took the back stairs down to the stables. Her family had made themselves rich off of the quality of horses that they bred, so Shalya had been raised riding them. It was the only time that she felt free. She moved pasted the stables and headed towards the fields beyond the barn. Once there, she jumped over fence and let out a loud whistle. There is only one companion that she would like today, the strong silent type. Leaning up against the fence, she called in two apples and cleaned them off on her shirt and bit into one. The other was a treat for her arriving escort.

Sadonus had decided to spend the day visiting the different horse ranches in Maghre, mainly looking for better stock, or even a better breeder. Several decades ago, he had bought a decent piece of land just outside Maghre's borders, and had hired a competent breeder to make use of the stock he had acquired. Sadonus didn't really know anything about horses, his specialty being clothing, but he was willing to try a new trade to make a little extra profit. The business had stayed afloat, but Sadonus simply couldn't compare to the natives who lived in Scelt. Horse breeding was their life, so he didn't really think he could compete. Now the issue was that his horse breeder was getting too old for his job. That tended to happen to Sadonus when he hired among the short lived races, but there was nothing for it. The breeder's daughter had showed potential, but Sadonus wanted to make sure that he found the right breeder this time.

His musings brought him finally to the largest horse ranch in the province, rumored to be home of the young Queen who ruled here. He could only imagine that the stock here would be phenomenal, so perhaps he could make a generous offer for a mare. Darkness only knew that he needed something amazing to boost his business.

Walking across to one of the enclosures, he noticed a young woman leaning against the fence eating an apple, and holding another for what he assumed was for one of the horses. He put on a friendly smile and walked casually up to her, hoping he wouldn't be unwanted. Dressed as he normally was in all black, he seemed a little out of place here. While he had a tendency to dress more upper class, it was only for show. After living as a beggar for several decades at the beginning of his life, dirt didn't bother him. "Good day, Lady," Sadonus said in a carefully neutral voice as he leaned casually against the fence.

Black Widow Queen
Opal - Red
At the sound of an unknown voice, the young Opal jeweled Queen quickly turned towards the sound that had reached her ears. There as no fear in her eyes as she looked upon the approaching Warlord Prince. No there was only annoyance in being disturbed that was quickly hidden behind a wonderfully developed court mask. “Good day, Prince,” she replied to the man as she looked him over very carefully, “How may I help you today?”

She didn’t know this male that had trespassed on her land. She didn’t have an appointment today to meet with anyone… Or at least, she didn’t remember having one. However, he didn’t seem to want to harm her, and while he interrupted her time away from court duties, she really had no reason to be upset…. Other than she was a Queen, and it was her right to be annoyed at anything she wanted to be. Sighing softly, she gave the man one more look before crossing her arms over her chest as she wanted for his reply.

*Do you want me to kick him?* A playful voice entered her head from the stallion that stood just over the fence line. *Then he would go away and leave you alone with your thoughts.* She knew that he had felt her annoyance and would react just like any other member of her court; but Sundancer had an funny way of thinking about things, and she was normally amused by these thoughts.
