Squeaking Clutch Pedal

Make it stop!!! haha

My clutch pedal squeaks like a donkey every time I push it. Drives me crazy. I greased the heck out of the plunger thing under the clutch pedal and that....helps....but if I do any amount of city driving with lots of stop and go, the squeak comes back. Had a passenger ask if I was stepping on coo'ing pigeons.... [HUH]

Thoughts?

Will it really need a whole new clutch for a squeak? Clutch doesn't slip...And it doesn't even squeak like that until I have done quite a bit of city driving. If I drive a little bit on the freeway and don't shift at all, and then get off the freeway, it wont squeak. Stop and go traffic, city driving, etc and then it will do it.

I was thinking more just the slave cyl. I heard you can take the slave off and grease "the nylon ball" but I don't know if unscrewing the slave from the trans housing will cause a drain of fluid or anything....
