How would i check the diff fluids and transfer case fluid. Never had a 4x4, or truck for that matter, so im not sure. Or any other ideas what it may be?? Dont want to screw anything up. Like i said though its ONLY when in 4 hi, not sure about 4lo never tried that yet. Thanks

to check you diff theres a lil rubber plug in the diff cover... pull the plug and fluid should be to the bottom of the hole and your Tcase should be on the back side you will see 2 big like 1 1/4 hex plugs im not sure on the size thats just a guess... ones on the bottom thats your drain there should be one up and to the left from that thats your fill if you unscrew that plug there should be fluid to the bottom of the hole... make sure when your on level ground when checking fluids

its completley normal for there to be a certain amount of "whining" when in 4x4, especially withe the chain in the transfer case. not loud, just enough that you can hear it with the radio off and the heater fan off.
