You run smaller tires when riding mx tracks to keep the center of grav very low, handles WAY Better that larger tires, it turns tighter, doesn't tip... only time you run larger tires is when riding cross country type races. For the dunes, had my mx fronts, which don't really matter and the rear paddles are set up to be extremely light, each rear wheel and tires is 4lbs less than most peoples regular rear paddle set up; less unsprung weight makes a huge diff. on a side note, I went to read some comments on my other new post showing pics of my dakota and hit the "delete topic" on accident; I went to scroll up and just happened to be right on that area and hit the mouse button...I am a total noob here, anyway to get that back? I know there was at least one comment ( I think from you - didn't even get a chance to read it lol ) if not more, thanks for any help. Edited by derbtrx450r, Jan 16 2011, 11:21 PM.
