Now all I need to do is hire someone to put up drywall on the basement ceiling to be complete with that job since I cant do it with my neck now.... I thought about the drop down ceiling panel system but it would cost more than just putting up drywall, besides drywall gives it a finnished look and not cheap looking in my opinion. Now I just need to find someone who wants to make a few dollars....

Well, I have been getting this stuff done Slo-But-Sho..... here is the effects of that : This is called ragging on, where you add paint to the surface using a rag dipped in paint and randomly dabbing it and rotating the rag. You use 3 colors of the same spectrum EG: Blue, Light blue, white which I used here... Black, grey, white... I will post some pics of that later. It looks like walpapper in a way, but alot better !!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now i gotta take the trash out....lol Real quick... here is the grey rag effect

Not bad. Looks good. To bad you live far away from me or I would come hang that dry wall for you. You don't need real thick sheetrock. I would use the thinnest in your area. |
