well the vibrating i had described in an earlier post is still going on and i had to been to many shops and talked to many people... turns out it's the torque converter... now i don't understand a lot about the mechanics of a truck... but that's why i need some help here... i was told that this guy is just about the best in east texas and people come to see him from as far as dallas... which is a 2 hour drive... but anywho... he said he can do JUST the converter, flush the tranny, new filter for about 700... but he can also do the entire overhaul for 1650... that gives me a 12,000 mile warrenty... but to me 12,000 is about 3 to 4 months... BUT if he's as good as they say he is i could go for another 2 years or more... and i don't see how the warrenty would help anyway since i'm not going to be here very long... but i would like to get somo opinions on which route i should take here... thanks...

well took my truck to get it checked by the machanic... he test drove it and hooked it to the computer and everything... he said that he feels that the transmission is fine and wouldn't be worried about only changing out the converter... i been talking to the people i work with and they say this guy is the best and they wouldn't have it done any place else... so it's going in next monday... i'll keep you posted...
