I had a T.P.S. problem last month and it did act like a tranny issue. It shifted real late if at all and the power dropped off like the tranny was slipping. So i now know how much of an importantce the TPS is now. But mine did actually throw a TPS code. These trucks act in wierd ways. But I Love'em. Hope i could help! Ne ways I Tryed [thumbs-up]

I take it that means Over Drive pressure circuit? I found that one too. I'm trying to log onto that site. Dodge forums. There has been no response to her thread. I'll try my self to get something.

I think ASB is on to something with the TPS [thumbs-up]

It was the first and so far the only problem with my dak. Im broke so i hope there isnt anymore soon to come. But the funny thing is it didnt act up at all? Just cruising at highway speed than boom. There it was! Thanks Cook for the insight, im not the best help. But i'll share what i know.

A code for a code for another code? im confused, its time to update ye ole' data base in the brain to Version 2.1.3.2.6.1.6.8.0

That is what I've been told. That the code P0700 means: P is for Powertrain. 0 means I fogot and 7 means transmission. It is a generic code meaning that the actual code is in the PCM but you have to go get it. Why Chrysler did that I don't know. Ask them. I messed w/ the TPS and got a new one. Same. Yes, I reset the PCM and TCM.
