4:56 is a pretty steep gear set. 4:11's would work better as an all around gear if you have plans on going to say ... 33's. 4:56's would be better suited to 35's and over IMO. Depends if you want the stump pulling power I guess.

I had just seen alot of guys on other sites that said they were a good gear, i also want to sacrifice some top end to get a little better fuel mileage. Im running stock tires, plan to run 285's or maybe 305s after i get that body lift installed. im only getting barely 11 mpg stock, not good

I have 4.56s and I LOVE it! Wouldn't have it any other way! I got stock tires too. You need a grand Cherokee tcm and that will make a 45rfe a 5 speed! Took my highway RPM almost to stock! When I go to 32"s I'm gonna go to 4.88s!
