![]() Genre: Platform Shooter Intended age group: 12+ Prophet of Death is a medieval platform shooter in progress. It will have a slightly cartoony, but serious style and is set at first in a bright castle under siege, then the meadows of Themus, leading over a massive volcano, finally ending up in a Gothic Stronghold before the dead's underground lair. I will not spoil it to you, but it will definately not be for the faint of heart, as I am hoping to have a few enemies that are... invisible. We've decided to postpone production on Todez.... It is proving so damn hard to code an online game... We aren't using GMK to make this, and I have dropped out of production of Todez (MATTHEWs in charge now. I'll grab him on msn and get him on the forums a lot more.) Don't worry, it's only because with me being quite ill at the moment, and I really am not a good coder; Im gonna learn, then Todez will fly along... Don't worry. |

Aww... I coulda coded... WAAAAAAAAH!! It's not cancelled but still!!! ITS POSTPONED! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I knew it would get a long delay!! EDIT: I will still sprite for Todez so that the end of your postpownage, you will have Bajillions of sprites to add (If you add all of them) EDIT 2: Maybe I think, that if I work on Todez, then it's progress will go much, much faster! I have this all planned... I don't know, this isn't my kind of game, Prophet is my kind of game. I think it might be easier for me to work on my type of game... Right, when Matt comes online, I'll get him straight on this forum and he'll put you on Team Todez. I'll be working on this, so I'm gonna give you modizenship for now, ok? |

Ok, I was thinking of making Todez by scratch, by myself... Im SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dissapointed about you quitting Todez... I guess it's just Mathhew and me... making todez... without the 3Xthe help... Sigh... The Japanese game, of Tode/Frog adventures... =( EDIT: OOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Nononononono! Only one piece of credit will go to me for dreaming it up... Lots to you for sprites, and matt is part of the Prophet team, but he is far more skilled than me. All he is doing for Prophet is sprites, which wont take long, then we are making the DZ Games Engine V. 1.0, which all our games will be based on. Then we will use THAT engine for Todez, which will at first be offline because we can't figure out how to make it online. So, see, you will get the most credit.I will get the least credit, and Matt will come back to Todez when we've sprited Prophet and made the engine. Although Prophet will probably be done before Todez, that is because Todez is far more complicated than just running around in a level choosing your weapon and whacking/shooting stuff. Ok, the game sounds cool/weird. BUt, invisible enemies would be hard... A invisible sprite cabt hit a visible one, but if you make the monster thge same color as the background, it can look invisible! |

I have devised a solution to that. the invisible enemies only appear in act 5. They are called Phantasms, and they make sounds when they walk. They only become visible when they are close, and then they leap onto you and attack. And by the way, the guy you see in my avatar is the character when he has no armour and is wielding a sword. Ok I assure you, it will get us ALOT of members. I will use a link on the title screen to do that. Oh, and also, I will be making a whole series of these. Prophet One stars Grahm, Prophet Two is fifty years later and Grahm is dead, then it will be Prophet Arena, where you can customize your character, and Prophet Three, which is set three hundred years after the first. Erm... the prophet guy looks bad. And I can assure you, that lots of swearing and gory violence will make it less mature. For ****s sake, your just 11, how the **** are you going to make a mature game. All you have is bad graphics and bad coding and bad story and maybe some bad swearing. Sorry, but that's the impression I'm getting. |

The Prophet Guy looks bad because it is my avatar and the image is stretched. I am not giving the full plot away. The DzGames engine is VERSION ONE POINT O. Do NOT swear. Uh, why? Your 'flaming' zero tolerance thing was made after I said that. And the other rule is against swearing. And **** definitely isn't swearing. It was a line of stars! (btw, it's not stars due to censoring, it's stars because I typed it that way). Anyways, sorry, but the banner and character look bad. And I can assure you that the badness is not due to avatars stretching. Anyways, I have never broking your rules, and I don't yet intend to. |
