Just lately we've been having a few issues with the Internet mostly with pages locking up therefore having to close them down and start again which has been rather frustrating to say the least.
An Engineer from Virgin has just replaced the old Modem (NTL 120) with a new one and hey presto it's working 100%.

He said the old Modem couldn't handle the speed as it was designed for 4mb but also said that this new Modem would be able to handle anything up to 20mb...another free upgrade soon then? free is good

So we're now up to speed with a 10mb connection :drive:

Just think...the Net is the only place you can speed and not get a ticket for it! :yay:

<_< could be a bad modem (happens but rare) more likely be the levels.
The new modems are on a closer RF signal scale.

Not the best test but if your paying for the 10mb have a quick go on SPEED TEST!!!, you should be getting at least 7mb hard wired and 6mb wireless.......

If its too low, you can remove/change 2way splitters etc or have a re-pull to your house using a larger cable so you will gain more signal.....) not alot you can do though, has to be one of us <_<
