Couple Of Updates; And a HUGE thanks to Storme

Couple of small changes recently so though id throw some (crap) pictures up.

I obtained a set of Bilstein coilovers from John. The pistons are fine, but they're in desperate need of refurbing which will be the next step. Whilst the original non-adjustable Bilsteins make the car handle superbly for its size, the stance wasnt really what I was after.

So... after inspection of the coilovers, the rear strut tops were deemed 'buggered'...

So after a wanted ad on here asking if anyone knew of a decent local engineer, Richard (Storme) came to the rescue...

I cant thanks Richard enough, absolutely top job, and a decent guy to boot. Thanks again mate :)

Banged the coilovers on earlier, took it for a spin and im happy. Considerably stiffer than the OE Bilsteins but it handles even better and looks more like what I was after...

Bit of camber for the track too.

Apologies for the crap photos, they're off my phone.

Also got round to fitting a Dump Valve for a laugh... not sure its my cup of tea though.

Glad you got it sorted mate. Really impressed with those top mounts.. hopefully they'll fair a little better then the cuscos. The ride hight looks good, the rear's a little higher then the front, just the way you want it
