i'm with benny, it all depends on the photo and the coloring to start with.
what camera are you using and have you been playing with HDR lately?

its been a couple of months since ive used my camera, we'll have to meet up sometime soon and do some photos.
i think i may be a little out of touch now as i was just getting used to my camera since buying it.

photo 2 has too much interesting colour to do B&W on the building. black and white can look good but i like these shots with the light, in colour too much!

try black and white shots with the light source behind you, to illuminate the subject and capture interesting shadows..

Thanks for all the feed back guys :worship: It all helps.........

Andy - im using a DSLR now. its only a Canon 1000D but its light weight and easy to use!!! Not done much in HDR, more into these current shots (heavy contrast and reduced saturation and the B&W images!!)

Daniel - Thanks! Ive seen a few grey filters as well as all the Polarizers but this is all still new to me! Im still learning, be nice to meet up with someone who has a DSLR that can show me a thing or too!!!

Jon - Yep that is behind Holdernhurst Road!!! You know your landscape :P
