Hello all,

Been looking into this for what seems like ages, but really couldn't justify the money as the ones I have are mechanically fine, but when the new MOT law came in with regards to having loose springs etc! I used this as an excuse to upgrade; I know it would have been cheaper and easier to get replacement springs, but I really didn't want too :P

Another reason to upgrade was handling or lack of... since having the car tuned it really hasn't felt the same, a bit too much power for some of the stock components and I don't have the same confidence I used too :( so as well as the obvious I have also been looking into what seems like every suspension component possible and potential geo set-ups too (what a tough decision is all I’m going to say), but apart from the geometry which I haven't decided on yet :rolleyes: all the bits are now on order and part 1 arrived today :D

My Tein Super Street coilovers with pillowball top mounts;

I can't wait for the other pieces to turn up so I can get going; hopefully within the next 2 weeks if all goes to plan, so watch this space for updates..

Cheers
Kev

The only thing that put me off the coilovers was the thought of a really harsh ride, I’ve had HKS ones before and they were like solid metal rods rather than suspension, as Mr. Lennox can confirm :lol: but after talking to Simon (JGM) and Paul and going in his car they are no worse than my KYB’s so I got the bad boys on order.

Had an email last night and part 2 should be here next week and part three the week after that :rock:, just need to source the EDFC, so if anybody knows of someone selling the correct unit please drop me a PM.

Cheers

Just a little update for those interested....

A couple a parcels were waiting for me at lunch today, didn't have enough time to examine during this time, but the packaging gave most of it away :D

And here they are now un-packed
