You know thats not going to happen because they haven't. People in those senior positions absolutely never accept the responsibility of their actions. Keep getting paid their inflated salaries for as long as they can get away with it. |

[GK-customfield]Jeff![customfield-GK]The Prelude, in many ways, is a typical Japanese car but I would always put it in a list of all-time fave raves because its V-Tec engine is just so amazingly sweet. I've said before that this is the best mass produced engine of all time, and I'll say it again now. J.C. (But, to be honest, in 1997!) | |

the unfortunate position of it all is, that if they do end up sacking people there goes the whole issue with them swept nicely under the carpet. Its a shame in this country and i'm guilty of this, no one ever stands up for something unless its effected them, if people put the effort in early, although you never see the results, because you've stopped them thingsjust might be a little better. |

Although Social Services were to blame for not spotting what was going on i think this highlights the suitability or lack of it of people to become parents. |

well in my opinion mate bcoming a parent, is not something you can know your going to be good at, its a massive change, i myself, have taken 7 months to switch on fuly to the fact my life is about him now, and no more turbo's. but i do know of people who i'd have thought would be great and struggle under the pressure, which is enormus, bill's work, time, babys needs, it all gets you in a right muddle sometimes and with people struggling financially at the moment thats not helping. i dont believe the jobs where done right here nor do i believe that the issue will never happen again but i live in hope that it wont, its a tip of a very long sword, of issues, that never get addressed. |

one other point, i found that after archie arived, it was very hard to actually interact with the services that where offered we had mulitple people come to the house, and they preach and preach and generally leave you feeling that its nevergood enough, so we never wanted them back, now fee's an awsome mother and we are lucky enough to have all the help we need and we muddle on by to make sure he gets the best he can. some people just arn't so lucky. in general the uk lacks a massive amount of people skills in all roles. |

But if you were in trouble finacially or mentally i would like to think you would ask for help from friends/family. As for not knowing how good a parent you would be is obvious but surely these 'people' would know torturing a child is evil. |

yes i didn't quite mean it like that, i'm in no way fighting there corner mate. i work with mentally challenged people and it gives you one hell of an insight into a completely different world, the word sick has many meanings, but thats simply what they are ill/sick, what they do and how its deemed is another sick altogether, but mental states can be in a number of forms and hidden very well, just beacuase you dont comprehend a persons actions, it does not mean that there not capable of doing them, people who hit woman or steel cars, i cant imagine doing it but there minds/lives are different. i believe the signs where there for this case, hence wrong doings from those in a position to help are evident, sometimes no one see's the signs. this is not down to how good a parent you might think someone is the proof is in the puding. |

although social services should have picked it up, at the end of the day the parents beat the baby, so why are they trying to shift the blame?? it should all be on the parents befor anyone else. |

In no way did i think you were sticking up for them You obviously have more of an insight into possible problems of the people but i just think they were sick bastards as they knew what they were doing. |
