Argie's off on a wee night out tonight with a mate to see Motorhead  in Exeter. Sort of a last minute thing. One of his mates popped round with a spare ticket after his brother decided he wanted to watch the England V Germany match instead  . No contest really <_< . Anyway, he had about 20 minutes notice.

Then had a phone call from Argie to say there'd been an accident en route so not quite sure what time they would have got to Exeter. No doubt he'll come back with loss of hearing and a sore neck from headbanging :D

Well that was a night and a half

We did get to see Motorhead at Exeter Uni', good job I know most of the lyrics as the concert was quite loud and muffled but not as bad as it used to be  we missed Saxon which was a shame :(

Didn't do any Headbanging...just had a Haircut....

Lemmy is 63 next month, still going strong, also met Phil the Guitarist, really nice bloke, the drummer did a bloody good job too :)

I don't know anything of the Accident near Morcombelake but I do know this....

The POLICE are slightly incompetent when handling a situation like this. :assbeat:

The Accident happened 1 1/2 hrs BEFORE. We drove past Bridport and all the way to morcombelake, was turned around without a sniff of information as to what the hell was going on. We got lost going the back lanes but after looking on the map it's a piece of wee to get round. Got told to go to Bridport all the way to the A30 so why didn't they set up a diversion there as we would've saved nearly an hour of feckin' about

Accidents revive road debate

A controversial campaign for a by-pass through west Dorset has been revived by county councillors, four years after it was abandoned by the government.

The scheme to divert the A35 past Chideock and Morcombelake was dropped because it would damage highly attractive countryside.:assbeat:

But the road - on the main east-west route along the south coast - has seen a series of accidents. One man is critically ill in hospital and another died a few weeks ago.

The issue is being passed on to the South West Regional Assembly

Obviously the price of saving lives is outdone by the View again...

OMG what a night :supz:! .....next month it's Hawkwind! :smoke:
