Had it dyno'd today and to say im pi$$ed is an understatement. With my current spec it should of blitzed what it made but hey ho....Martin ran his car with a similar spec to mine but with a bigger turbo, a turbo good for 370-380 and only made 11bhp more his car didnt make 300ftlb with a turbo thats so torquey its prone for blowing gearboxes.

Dont ask what the pretty pattern is as it tails off because i have no fudging idea.. both cars had the same.

if it hit a limiter, the power would have nosedived.

Kind of looks like wheels spin, but i dont think it is.

So when are you going for the TD05 20G Jay ;)

Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

Daft question.. is it an import? - Has it been delimited?

yeah imports time there the ra ones race altered lighter and some more fancy stuff, less is more and all that. and if its getting that power i'd say very much so on the delimit question, think the limits set to 112mph but might not be acurate there.

jay thats a good run mate and you've got your remap on the plans so i'm sure that'll iron out a dead horse or 20

Well, if its not a limiter then my last guess would be traction control, but wouldnt have thought RA's have that.

All 3 cars that ran all had the same ending, the spiral. Its spin of some sort but its not the wheels spinning not on all 3 cars.

The car is not hitting any limiters, it happily revs to 8grand and tops 130+mph

Neither mine or Martins made 300ftlb which is unbelievable especially martins with the 18g. My old WRX that made 313bhp made more torque than both, breaking the 300ftlb mark.

I made 280ftlb and Martin 285ftlb which is stupidly low....I could of saved my money and had the car mapped in standard form and made the same power with the VF23, topmount intercooler and 440cc injectors...

The car absolutely flys on the road!

It'll be interesting to see how the figures compare with the other guys running on the RR day in a couple of weeks.

TBH Lewis im more than happy with the VF34 at present i love the way it spools nice and early and revs right through the range. Ive been talking to Ang today about spending a few more quid after xmas, maybe going the MD555 route which would mean 2.5 short block and gearbox rebuild.

Nissan built an Impreza before Subaru, its called the GTi-R

If the car feels great on the road then it sounds like a dyno problem. I'm surprised Triton didn't tell you what the problem is/could be.

You'll have to take me out for a spin. I thought it might be nice to run the same car on the triton RR and on the amber RR on the same day, might be interesting.

Just spoken with JGM and he says everything on the plot is all wrong...vf34 peaking at 4800, max bhp at 7100 and looks like the rpm / gear ratio was not altered from a UK box imho.
