I fitted my new turbo, elbow, chip and air flow meter today. :) I wrapped the elbow and it all went together easily B)

Started her up and got an engine management light :( Its running poorly too.

If I unplug the MAF the idle doesn't change, which leads me to believe its that, but I'm not sure <_<

I've got keevil monday, so I REALLY need to get this sorted.

I think I need to source a 300zx MAF first and try that, if that doesn't work I'm stuck :no:

The usual symptom of a fooked Maf Paul...idle should fluctuate almost cutting out if a healthy Maf is unplugged.

Yer I know, but it seems to run and not come close to stalling with the plug removed <_<

I think I'll just get another MAF ASAP and try it.

All sorted :thumbsup:

I put a post up on the SXOC, to the guy that does the ECU upgrade. He is a true genius, from my descriptions he told me it was a broken chip/ecu. He was spot on, I went out (in the dark) whipped the ECU out and checked the connections, one of wires had broken off when I swapped the chips over. Its now running :yay:

I took it out for a test drive, but I hadn't purged the air out of the rad, so the temps were running a bit high!

Nearly there :D

speaking to stevey

we had the hks actuators set to about 1.1 bar/16psi base pressure

then had the high setting set to 1.4 bar as this is what the chip was set for when i first helped develop the chip lol :)

should be good for around 340+ bhp :)
