Mate has just rung me saying his LSD light on his 94 GTS-T is now lit up. It normally only lights when he's spinning his tyres up, but is now permantly on. I know nothing about Skylines hence this thread. My best guess was oil level in the diff but I'm sure someone will know better than me. Any ideas? or where he could take it to? Last time he had a problem with it we ended up on a farm in deepest darkest rural Hants!!!!

My mate took the Skyline to a local garage who rang Rising Sun over in Hants and they suggested something (not sure of details - mate is even worse than me on anything technical!!). They did mention his might be a special edition as normally only GTR's have this light on the dash. Anyone have any ideas if this is the case as he's interested in learning more. I've tried getting him to sign up on here but he's shy (I'll keep working on him!!)

Could be a Fuse, broken Transmission Switch, could be Low on Oil, Cooked ECU...surely if the LSD light is on doesn't that mean that the Diff is locked?

Perhaps he's totally knackered it? .......hooligan!

There should be some info on gtr or Skylineowners forums - thats where I tend to look for things Skyline related.
Nissan Silvia S15 Spec R - long gone.
Nissan Skyline 350GT - gone but not forgotten.
Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 - gone in sixty seconds...or thereabouts![GK-customfield]Greg[customfield-GK]
