I took my tubby off today as Hellbound is fitting it to his S13 and I'm having Stevey's turbo.

I knew my tubby gasket was blowing, but I didn't expect this

No wonder my car was boosting a little late and not holding steady boost. <_<

I can't wait for the new setup to go on now!!!!

if you use decent locking nuts and spring washers, and (no offence) properly tighten all the nuts then recheck them after a few weeks, you will be fine!

Why does it look like you have an adaptor plate between the turbo and manifold?? might just be me being stupid!!

Also i hope your getting a better turbo elbow with the new setup!! :P
[GK-customfield]Lewis[customfield-GK]
Starlet GT 1.3 forged engine, tdo4 turbo @ 1.25bar = 252bhp = SOLD :(

EDIT: Charade GTxx 993cc three cylinder turbo, 173bhp @ 1.4bar (should hit 200bhp with a larger throttle body, removing stupid high lift cams and a bit more boost)

I will be getting a new elbow and downpipe, the adapter plate is actually just the nissan gasket ;) Luckily its still in perfect condition.

I just need a bracket made up to support the weight of the turbo as you lose the standard one when changing the elbow.

had same problem with steves but we did fix it in the end you just need a big steel bar from the down pipe to the back of the gearbox cross member it has to be solid or it will not work any problems give me a ring

Yeah thats cool , but id get one at the bottom of the downpipe to the gearbox crossmember because that doesnt look very strong and its very violent on boost :D
