its in the same place on steering when on full lock left/right. Checked and cant find a bluddy thing wrong.

Thought it was alloys to start with, bad fitment, but it abvisouly isnt.

And it went for a mot 2 weeks ago and according to them only needed a mid/rear exhaust and 4 tyres........

Its very loud when driving to.......

Whats the top mount bud when its at home..... ;)

cheers

Top mount is at the top of the suspension.

i don't think though that the top mount would make that sort of noise (i may be wrong) it sounds as if something is catching or rubbing on something else in the suspension.

def agree with that sounds like the spring moving in the top cup which would point to top mount.

Can I hazard a guess?

The Steering Tie-rod is fubarred
The Nuts at the bottom of the Suspension strut are loose
Steering Rack is loose
Nearside Lower Arm Bushes worn

It's something simple no doubt :)
